Re: Darlington v Farsley 13/04/24
Well done Darlo.Couldn't be there but kept updated through the afternoon. Looked dead & buried not so long ago but proved everyone, yes, me included, wrong.

Re: Bradford PA Roll Call
Can't make it. When fixtures came out & I was checking which matches I would try to make this was one of them. However since Christmas I've had to take turns working Saturdays & today is one of them. Although I've been City a few times not made it to PA. Always next season.

Re: Hard fought but lucky point
Have to agree with Maurice & Loan_Star here. We expected a hard fought match & that's exactly what we got. True we did ride our luck a bit but I thought we deserved the draw. They had alot of the possession but that's what you would have expected at their place, they are one of the teams who will be...

Re: Stockport County Roll Call
I'll be there. One of easiest games for me to get to from Stoke. 30 minutes on train & a short walk to the ground.

Re: Conference North Play Off Final at MK Dons?
Bit ironic that the town that essentially stole a League club rather than have to form a side to battle its way through the non-league pyramid may get to host a non-league showpiece like this. I agree. It was disgusting that they were allowed to get away with this. And I may be mistaken but didn't ...

Re: One More Point !
Anyone else remember the Scottish Premier League in 1986 ? The media were saying how Hearts had won their first title for mega-years. After all, with 1 game to go Hearts would have to lose & Celtic would have to win & there would have to be a 7 goal swing from Hearts to Celtic. Guess what, Hearts lo...

Re: Away guide to Grantham
Had not even considered this one before as thought it was miles out of the way but after checking trains it looks promising. Two changes from Stoke but definently do-able.

Re: Stamford v Darlington FC
I don't have this new fangled internet thingy at home so I opened my morning paper on the bus in great anticipation looking for the result only to be disappointed to see Stamford 1 Darlington 1. So imagine my surprise to come on here at lunch break at work & find it was a 4-1 victory. Checking my pa...

Re: Fixtures are out
Bit of a downer looking at the fixtures & thinking that out of the 3 (fairly) local teams in the Southern play-offs at end of last season - Leek Town, Newcastle Town & Stafford Rangers - none are in the list. I suppose Sutton Coldfield isn't that far really.

Re: Fixtures are out
Been waiting impatiently for these to come out. Been hoping for either Buxton or Colwyn Bay away for first match, or at least an August weekend. Get both within a fortnight. Though Colwyn Bay may now need to be a day trip rather than a weekend.

Re: Can't wait to play some new teams next season.
Although a Stoke fan Darlo are my 2nd team & I try to get to some matches especially in Midlands & North West so although some possibilities to visit I was gutted that Leek Town lost their play off final yesterday. Nice & close for me, some good pubs & finally the chance for payback for the FA Troph...

Hi. I'm a Stoke fan but Darlo have been my second team since the mid 70s. My first match was a 2-0 win at Port Vale in 1979 & my first "home" match was Reading in 1984. During the 80s to early 90s I usually managed 1 match a season at Feethams & 2 or 3 matches in the Midlands or North West area depe...
