Re: Farsley coverage
Might not be a popular choice but I'd have Reid in midfield. Farsley are likely to be physical so I think we need extra presence in midfield otherwise we could be bullied like we were last week. ------------------------ Saltmer ------------------------ McMahon --- Hunt --- Storey ------- Liddle ----...

Re: Shorter games ?
First to score wins. If there is no goal after 30 minutes the outcome is determined via a game of scrabble.

Whatever the team is tonight, it’ll look like a first choice 11 because we don’t really have any fringe players other than Hudson.

Quality when he first signed for us, then signed a bumper new contract and wasn’t interested after that, glad he’s off the wage bill.

Re: Phil Turnbull Departs
Whilst scoring goals isn’t Turnbull’s game, you’d be lucky to get three goals in a season from him and Wheatley in the centre midfield, that’s a problem. No it's not. It only becomes a problem if the people you pay to score goals (I.e. Styche, Thompson et al) don't score them. If Turnbull hadn't sc...

Re: York City
Are we actually going ahead with this friendly? Couldn't give a toss. I thought at the time, and nothing has changed my mind, that we should have told YCFC, in the immortal words of Roy Keane, that they can stick it up their bolloc£s. A pre-season friendly against a team that finished three points ...

Don’t think you can give it someone who hasn’t been here half the season, Thompson or Galbraith for me.

Re: Darlo v Chorley
I most probably would be different formation to those above as from the away game Chorley walked through us so would pack midfield:- Pears Trotman - Heaton - Brown - Galbraith Portus - turnbull - Syres - wheatley Styche - Mills Syres, Portus and Wheatley are all capable of getting forward and suppo...

Not sure if Tommy has closed the door on any further signings but just feel we are one striker short as we only have Reece and Harvey as recognised strikers.Ashley Chambers from Nuneaton would be a good shout and not sure if we enquired about him.Perhaps a loan signing from the Boro ?
