Re: Mark Beck
This must be why he did not feature today, he must still be waiting for international clearance from the Scottish FA/Wrexham, good job as we don't want another Callaghan issue  'Frustrated not to get my clearance through for today but great spirit from the lads to come back twice from behi...

Judging by a comment made by him recently he won't be with us next year, and he's not very happy about it either.

Re: John Campbell
I think the issue here is that the made up rumours doing the rounds on twitter last night included a photo shopped official website screenshot quoting Martin Gray as saying John Campbell was to be re-signed by the club. I think it's because of this that they have felt the need to reply.

Re: WELDON Performance
The way he got back to pressure their lad in the late one-on-one was quality, made up a massive amount of ground when the rest of our defence looked like they were wading through treacle. Their lad got nervous, then got a bobble and put it wide, but Weldon forced him into that. I agree, he certainl...

Major Investor - Facebook Page
Just been reading the official Facebook page with some guy, whose name is familiar, looking to bring a major investor to the table. Bit of deja vu going on for me here! Haven't heard the name Hutchy for a while.

Re: Contenders for player of the season.
Turnbull for me, super consistent once he found his feet, but.......we have now got a squad that for me has absolutely no weak links, as last night showed. I would have confidence of any of them playing and doing the job. That's never been the case before, there has been those one or two players tha...

Estate Agents
Evening all,
My mind may be playing tricks on me but I seem to remember a local estate agency, run by an avid Darlo fan offering a deal for season ticket holders on the sale of a house. Have I imagined it or can anybody offer assistance?

Re: And another one goes to---
Natural choice to be honest to continue playing for a local team but as high as possible, Blyth and Whitby are a bit of a hike for players around this way. They may well be in the same league as us next season if Spenny make it in the playoffs and we don't go up. Find the Bell move a bit strange th...

The stadium wasn't at at fault before it was the fools who ran the club, Mowden have shown what a club working together can actually do to make a success of the Arena. Think you have missed most of this thread, or at least over the last day. From having £6million in the bank at current rate of spen...

Well, they have signed Mark Bell, Arjun Purewal, Adam Nicholls, and Ian Ward. If they sign Emms, Richardson, Davis, Harrison, they'd have a good stock of players who know what it takes to get out the NL. I undertsand Emms is available after leaving Shildon, and i would certainly have Richardson bac...

i agree with the golden hairclip here i think some players read this forum and it would be a bit unfair for us to name names as to who might leave so soon after they contributed to a great season. let MG do it the right way privately then we will be the next to know The players already know though ...

Season Ticket
Well I bought my first season ticket in 16 years yesterday. Was a feethams regular, a bit part visitor to the arena and have missed only one home game since we ended up at HP, have loved the last three seasons. Really can't wait for next season and getting to Blackwell Meadows in particular, wheneve...

Does anyone know when the date to start is? The rugby festival is this weekend, and then I think the rugby club are finished for the season. Also, what would be good for all fans, is a planned timetable of events, so we can track progress, and get excited as dates loom into sight. Whatever happens,...

Re: Scarborough vs Darlo- Match Thread
Got home at 12:30 am after a brilliant weekend. Six points, seven goals, just a shame Salford didn't slip up. Big cheers to the Scarborough fans who invited me to join them in the Telegraph when I was stood at the bar on my own before any other Darlo turned up. Very enjoyable and Damned fine beer t...

So does anyone know how close (if at all) we are to the 300k? to be honest I expected a weekly update, as per the previous weeks, but the only update is to say there are only 7 days left. Perhaps we've already hit the higher target so it wouldn't make sense to update until the deadline so as not to...

Re: Scarborough away.
Hopefully we'll have a fantastic turn out of fans at least equal to what we took to Salford at Scarborough on Easter Monday. Hopefully the supporters club will have at least a couple of coaches going to the game? If we can get a win on Saturday then realistically could be looking at 800-1000 darlo ...

I'd stick with Cartman, danger for me is if we put Armstrong in from the start we will resort to long ball and not be as effective as we can be.
