Re: Season VOIDED

Bizarrely, there might be some clubs that could be quite happy to be relegated under PPG. I can’t imagine they would relish another season in NLN unless they unearth a pot of gold in the meantime

Re: Season VOIDED

Where the fa have slipped up is doing things back to front they should have blocked relegation and promoted the top two clubs where possible throughout the pyramid many leagues would have started with extra teams next season admittedly. But therefore clubs have increased revenue from the two extra ...

Re: Coronavirus and DFC

If the club are proactive they should put all PAYE staff as furloughed staff as at least 80% of PAYE costs will be covered. I don’t think they will be able to apply for CBIL due to the previous accounts and the fact the banks are looking for security, as we don’t have any. Most players finish up be...

I've got a season ticket so the club has my money already. It ain't losing out financially on my money *if* the season is cancelled - I am. Also I BTB and will continue to do so. That's enough for me though, this is a step too far. Obviously, it needs to be pay on day fans that need to be financing...

I get exactly what you’re saying en passant. That’s why it’s important for those fortunate amongst us that haven’t been adversely affected by the economic effects of social distancing to do what we can. Strangely, some will find they have more cash in their pockets by not being able to spend on trav...

According to 'MarketWatch, "BioNTech BNTX, a German life sciences company, plans to put its vaccine candidate, BNT162, into clinical trials in late April. This includes clinical trials in Germany and the U.S.". If successful, in my books that would kind of give a "mortally damaged" EU an advantage o...

I think the EU will be mortally damaged by current events & our country will be in a far better position to take control of our future.
Just remind me Pete, which country is leading on the development of a vaccine for COVID-19?

With regard to players contracts, these are put on a temporary hold so no players can swap clubs until the season ends This would need more than football authority involvement though a contract is well what it is - the FA / league can't enforce anything with players contracts. The only thing they c...

The way forward is for the club to eventually go full-time & a stepping stone to that end, will be perhaps to a half way house, that a hybrid model could deliver. We are a million miles from being full time, and blabbing on about how becoming a hybrid would be a half way house - well yeah Captain O...

Let's beat Walsall first. They will not be so easy to shock this time and we will not have a full squad to pick from. Oxford United are in better fettle than Walsall. No it means the FIFA does not permit the deal to happen outside of the transfer window
Or could he not be signed on dual registration like Alex Storey is?
'Dual registration' only applies to non-contracted players.

As stated previously when I mentioned it to the stewardess towards the end of last season she had been unaware of the problem and nobody had informed our SLO. They obviously tried to fix it during the summer which makes me think it might be mechanical so would be best stopping it if so.
