Re: WA Chief hits out...
I fully understand why everyones annoyed with this moron's remarks and their price hike. He is either very stupid or very clever. I think it is WA playing the psychological mind games with Darlo fans. I intend to go and support my team, I am paying my £10 in 5p coins and I will not spend another pe...

Do any houses overlook the ground? West can't stop filming from someone's upstairs window! If there is perhaps that home owner would allow Kev to film (and use Internet connection?) for a small fee? Need a good door to door salesman for this!!

Darlo handmade Christmas cards are available at the market shop, just a few left at the moment (gone really quickly according to Mary) but will be sending in a new batch end of next week. £1.50-£2.50 each
All proceeds to the club as the cards are donated free of charge.

Get the impression that even if the players had popped in then the buck-toothed simpletons would still end up angrily shaking their pitchforks at some other village etiquette violation. Like sitting on someone's favourite bar stool, or staring too long at the bloke with 8 eyebrows. :o  :o :lol...

Gorgeous jacket potato and chili (quite spicy and had mushrooms etc in) MASSIVE portion - couldn't eat it all!
Would definitely have a jacket again though (probably ask for a small one!)
Quick service and quality food. Thanks

Don't know if this has been mentioned anywhere else but the 'chuck' wagon found volume of customers really difficult and the queue was VERY long. Lots of people just turned round and didn't join it. I had 2 thoughts to solve it - bigger chuck wagon (i thought Saturdays were excellent) if this isn't ...

Like I suggested the other day, a simple cheque in the post for ST's is fairly easy and quick. Bought mine on Saturday but for those that didn't make it could we have a link on here (or the online shop) for either a downloadable form to post with a cheque or to send with a PayPal payment. Also in t...

I have read and re-read Shaun's OP and I'm totally gutted he would post something like this. Pre season starting tomorrow, open day at Bishop, 1883 busting a gut in their voluntary roles and Martin doing his utmost to build a team, and Shaun who I believed wanted to SUPPORT the club Moving forward w...

I have heard quiet a few people say that they were looking forward to their framed share certificate from crowd cube. They had a tangible concrete piece of paper that showed that they owned a piece of their football team (even though it was minuscule), it hasn't made a difference to me as we have re...

Went to visit today 'just for a look'. It happened to coincide with some of their board coming into the ground. A very nice lady (I think she said she was the treasurer) showed us round the facilities. Other members of their board also came over for a chat and were very friendly and welcoming (one o...

I heard they have a new sub section entitled "DARLO"
It is followed by "just do whatever you like to them no other rules need apply. When asked why, just make something up!"

Does the money/potential Dan Burn money go to 1883 or DFC.
If its DFC will we still get it if we are a new club? Perhaps it goes to the holder of the football share (enter RS stage right!!)

I had got used to the idea of NL even looked forward to it BUT..... The name change and being a new club well that really really really p1sses me off. How much more do they want to throw at us?
If nothing else 1883 MUST appeal against this decision.

Of course Mike Amos sees us as an asset to the NL and has accepted us warmly. A cash injection for all clubs in the NL by the numbers in support is a win win situation along with the added publicity. He may be "a good friend to northern football" but he came across very judgemental with little knowl...

He didn't seem to understand about the football share aspect. How can someone who is part of making the decision on our plight not even grasp the basics of what's going on? He even said he didn't know what a football share was! P.S. Quakerz description was a bit tame!
