The return of the master of hyperbole.

I'd go back to the Arena just to troll you. Dial A.
And here he is the master of the message board, you realise in turn you would then troll yourself by going there?

I take it the A stands for Administrator?

Re: Sports village

The fact the Arena is still standing to this day is nothing short of miraculous but now it really does look to be on more borrowed time, further to other comments made in the thread and this is in no way meant to be an anti DMP slur but what happens to it now is on them and I'd rather it stayed with...

Re: Who will follow Wigan Athletic into administration?

I think with Wigan it's more a case of cowboy owners and as it stands I don't expect a surge of club's going into administration particularly in the Championship just yet but nevertheless it is as sad as it is worrying. I fear more for clubs in League 1 and downwards, a few exceptions aside as long ...

Don't worry, I'm sure the leaders of one of the plague capitals of the world will do what's right for people's health and welfare. Mind, if it's OK for thousands of protestors to be cheek by jowl all over the country, then 1,400 footie fans in BM for a 90 minute match in the open air doesn't seem l...

Re: The Close Season drags onwards...

We should have been looking forward the Euro's kicking off on Friday but to be honest, right now football is irrelevant and personally and I won't be watching the Premier League or the Championship when they eventually come back, I've said before as far as I'm concerned if it isn't safe for fans to ...

Off the top of my head there's a few I can remember apologies if they've already been mentioned; Phil Brumwell - spent a season at Hull before coming back to us in 2001/02 if I recall rightly. Matt Clarke - returned briefly on loan from Bradford in 2006. Guy Ndumbu-Nsungu - also came back to us also...

If you are happy to play football at any time then you are happy to play russian roulette with player's health, you can't take the moral high ground. Contact sports are dangerous for both sides. It would be interesting to know the risk of death from coronvirus of a fit, healthy man in his 20s with ...

You can't play football without risk, players are at risk of dementia everytime they head they ball, and career ending injuries everytime they step onto the pitch. Yes, but there is now a real risk that they could catch or transmit a deadly virus, are you happy for Darlo to play a Russian Roulette ...

Personally, I think he's spot on. I think I've already said on here that I wouldn't be shocked if another ball isn't kicked in 2020 and I think for as long as supporters are locked out of stadiums football should not resume at all, including the Premier League and EFL. No mention of fans raising fun...

The most pragmatic thing to do and I realise how this will sound is to not resume at all until we're in a position where most or all of the restrictions have been lifted. Even with no supporters in the grounds it is still a lot of people moving around the country at any given time and all matches wi...

It's hard to believe it was 20 years ago! I can remember it vividly even though I was only 13 at the time. I skived school and travelled down with my dad and sister and some of my dad's friends in a hired people carrier and we stayed overnight at someone's house in Croydon. It was a miserable day, t...

Funny I thought we were worse than mediocre at the back end of Feethams but actually the tables suggest lower mid table mediocrity is fair. Probably just a relative thing following 99/00. League positions in our last 3 seasons at Feethams (if I remember rightly!): 00/01 20th 01/02 16th 02/03 14th

If we could get this season over by the end of September, then get 20-21 Season underway about the end of October/early November, for a shortened season split every division into 2 groups from the EPL, EFL down to non-League, teams in each group play each other twice and the top of each group would...

It is still my view that this season will finish. To me you can't have a season that doesn't conclude as there is too much riding on it for everyone, and you simply can not have any kind of Statty type formula which is fair. Football at some point will recommence and when it does finishing this pre...

Like I have said on another thread let's finish this season at the start of next season - and then split the league in two just for next season regionalising the two halves if possible which would cut costs. With a one off league cup competition maybe split into four groups of six to subsidize the ...

Rishi Sunak says he will pay a grant to enable the club to cover 80% of wages where we are unable to operate due to Covid19 to avoid laying off workers. Deferring VAT until June which will help too. Will still be a struggle to keep the club together, but we can do it. He didn't say any such thing.
