Re: David Johnson : We are in a sad position
Some of our fans would do well to remember exactly who is putting us in this position the next time they come to vote. And how exactly would we go about voting down the Chinese government? In hindsight, it begs the question of whether or not it is appropriate for public money to be used to finance ...

Re: Season at risk of finishing early
Agree wholeheartedly with you. August is a realistic date for the new season given the rollout of the vaccine should be well advanced by then. Suspending the season and restarting not an option given that we would have a minimum of 32 games still to play. The only sensible thing is to cancel the se...

Re: Season at risk of finishing early
Scandalous doesn't even begin to describe this, it's beyond a joke. It would seem both parties have apparently failed to differentiate between a grant and a loan and in doing so it would seem they have allowed this season to begin under the false pretence of financial assistance being provided via g...

Re: Shorter games ?
I've held back on commenting recently but after that debacle between the police and those two women in Derbyshire and then seeing the scenes in Chorley's dressing room at full time yesterday I can't help but feel there is something fundamentally wrong somewhere. Apparently it's against "the spirit o...

Indeed, but he is an ex Darlo player and his behaviour could have been described as "unsporting".

Re: Covid
I can see PPG being used at the end of this season, with a similar number of games being played to last season. On another note, is it wrong of me to admit I'm quite enjoying the break from watching the torture of us at home tonight? I'm writing this at 9.22, so in an alternative universe we are 1-...

Re: Back to the Arena
I know Blackwell was designed at very short notice, but it really should've been kicked down the road a few months to think about smaller things. Unfortunately we didn't have that luxury BM was built to tick ground grading boxes for minimal cost and had it not been ready and up to Category B gradin...

Re: Back to the Arena
This tier thing really is a load of old b*llocks. Agreed, all it does is create confusion. As horrible and soul crushing as these two full scale lockdowns have been I'd rather there was a set standard in which we all knew where we stood. And on the related subject I will never change my mind about ...

This will be a massive boost for so many clubs especially in non league, despite the reduced numbers in many cases having supporters back in grounds is absolutely vital for the survival of many teams lower down the pyramid I was fearful back in October that resuming behind closed doors could well fo...

Well that’s cheered me up no end😒.Its the way things are fella so why not try adapting. There are people at our club who have busted a gut to put on a fantastic service in Quaker TV but you can’t be bothered to try it!.Strange. If we can open a cinema was can open a safely distanced stadium. I've had this discussion before re: "If it's safe to go to the pub/cinema it's safe to open a stadium" etc and in principal I agree, however there can be no comparison drawn between cinemas and pubs to football, with football you are ...

The arena is where we start the season if we get a start, social distancing not a problem there. Fat josh trilling clown stay away, Is that a fact or a opinion? The FA Cup game could serve as a test event in itself, although it makes little sense admitting supporters for FA Cup games and not League games. Trial game should be no problem.First team v the academy with free admission to season ticket holders and everyone on their best behavior should take care...

Possible development- https://mobile.twitter.com/BroadcastMoose/status/1309182126307373057 change of league elite status- if you believe it? If that is correct then as things stand that would align us with Step 3 and downwards in which case it would probably be more practical for us to play at BM, ...

No surprise to see York (who championed NLN receiving "elite" status to begin with) have wrote to the League stating their support for beginning the season on schedule behind closed doors. From what I've read elsewhere being stripped of elite status could, at best, see us levelled up in terms of res...
