Re: Letters From The CIC
Jazz be interested to know how much you invested....or maybe it is all talk and no action? Paul sorry I am not posh or rich enough to have a BROKER. But I invested the most I could afford (which was a lot more than £100) and not a trivial amount to me. CIC made a committment to recognise the invest...

Re: Players suited and booted
So much fuss just over wearing some decent threads? If they are paying for them themselves then it's hardly going to be any harm to our finances. Plus I think it's a good idea anyway, it'll provide the players with a little more pride when playing for us. Bogratsteve's post was surely just jokes, pl...

I (jjmick) did indeed get banned, don't post on here often now since I can't go to the games as I'm gaining a degree at UEA, do watch the highlights of the matches now and again though. Glad we're doing well though, on the footballing side at least.

I remember saying that Mor Diop had all the attributes for a good striker...
He probably thought he had all the good attributes for a good manager as well.

Re: Super Pav
I loved his smash and grab one-on-one away at Dagenham, (by his own admission) more than a hint of offside but at the time it was an absolutely huge goal and huge result. The players were on the same train back and Pav, along with a couple of others kept walking through our carriage and were top no...

Re: Danny Mellanby returns!
I've seen him play a few times for Aycliffe and he's a class above in the northern league. Could maybe do with losing a clem or two mind! You only have to look at Newton Aycliffe's Warren Bryne, to show that you can score a few in the Northern League whilst carrying a little excess weight. You mean...

As we mull over our own sense of injustice, spare a thought for Rushden and Diamonds. I recollect seeing Darlo there and thinking what a great stadium and set up. Although there wasn't much around the stadium. Anyway quite chastening to think that they will be playing in the United Counties footbal...

So which of these costs wont we have when we magic up £5million to build a 5000 capacity replacement for the abandoned Arena? And what is the cost of 500 to 1000 fans lost by moving out of town? Or fans being turned away from a 2500 capacity ground if we are doing well? The ground-share will be sav...
