Re: Boston V Darlington

Again no idea how this one will go, Boston have an unlikely chance of a playoff spot, on the other hand TW says we can now play without the pressure of relegation ( I'm still in the mathematically certain camp) and we can go and express ourselves , so I think we will get thumped. Sorry I am drained...

Re: Darlington V FC United

Would of liked to see more of Kit Elliott in the remaining games, if he gets some game time and of course can perform at this level we might try to extend his loan into next season, but obviously if he just sits on the bench for 85 minuets his parent club might as well take him back. On another note...

Darlington V FC United

Well here we go again, no predictions , anything can happen and probably will. FC United manager blowing his top after their thrashing from bottom club Nuneaton , dropping established players bringing in the young thrusters and those who managed to avoid the cull , a final chance to give their fans ...

Darlington V Chester

I hope we can get a decent crowd for this one 1000 plus any that can make the trip from Chester, lets get behind the team and get a result.
Probably the same starting 11, defence needs to tighten up, formation wise its anybody's guess as to what suites us best at the moment.

Re: Williams Kokolo

If we do manage to bring in a loan signing what position should we be looking to fill?
For me it would have to be a strong MF player (not a youth player), I would put Ellilott at LB he's done a reasonable job there, bringing in a new LB will not solve our lightweight MF

Telford V Darlington

If we can put in the same effort/work rate as we did on Saturday we have a chance , but it will be a tall order.
Same starting 11 if everyone is fit.

Re: Darlington V Chorley

Yet another TW tactical master class. Trying to see out a game and you take of Kneeshaw who was playing well and you change a CM for a LW. When will he actually learn anything? Kneeshaw was knackered and had stopped offering us anything defensively. Desperately needed another body in the middle whi...

Darlington V Chorley

I think Chorley will have a bit to much for us to get a result, but we need to see a battling performance with every player giving 100%, nothing else will be acceptable. What ever the formation Kneeshaw should be given his first start since joining the club, he's an exciting player who can make thin...

Re: Ashton V Kidderminster

People are making out that it's between us and the bottom 3, but there is Leamington, Hereford and Guiseley between us and the bottom 3, so yes it is of concern, but we are certainly not at panic stations yet. No doubt there will be plenty of turning points in the remainder of the season. This is t...

For 10/15 minuets in the first half we played some good stuff, apart from that it was pretty awful, biggest cheer was when Ainge was subbed, sorry he is worth his place in the starting 11.

Darlington V Brackley

Obviously there will have to be changes to the line up for this game, and we will have different opinions on what they should be, injuries to players always throw up opportunities for players to make there claim to be in the starting 11, and also for management to tweak the style of play. Burn for G...

Re: Darlington V Southport match thread

So how will we line up on Wednesday? Maddison, O'Hanlon, Ainge, Hughes, Smith, Trotman, Palmer, Elliott, Thommo, Nicholson, Kneeshaw/Saunders Bench of Hall, Wheatley, Burn, Saunders/Kneeshaw, Kokolo? Pickering aren't playing on Wednesday so perhaps a chance to play jack vaulks at CB? Let him stake ...

Re: Darlington V Southport match thread

Not the best game to watch, I thought the Ref let far to many fouls go before he started to take action. Injury to Muggleton looked bad to me, carted off to hospital so we'll know how bad soon enough, hope he's ok.

Re: Post AGM update.

The only additonal thing i’d be tempted to do would be to go out to all of the owners i.e. the 1000 DFSCG members and ask them all to donate a one off £20. Ultimately if they want to own their club then they need to be prepared to cover a shortfall that a single owner would have to. These people mu...
