Aspin is more experienced than the other two and has managed at a higher level but his best managerial record was in the past rather than more recently. AA and Bower have very impressive records in recent seasons.
Agreed AA and Bower know this league inside out.

Hasn't Scott Fenwick been released from somewhere? Wonder if he'll end up at SS.
Chelmsford City I think.

Good luck to Spennymoor, good crowd last night.
Football fans are the same over, we have plenty (well not that many) who only turn up for the bigger games.

Re: Playoffs tonight

Both Bradford PA and Blyth teams have something to prove to there respective owners (budget cuts next season) like a lot of these games its who wants it most on the night. Having said that my pick to get promoted is Altrincham , few games to go mind.

Re: Who do we fancy then?

What about Tommy Miller. Worked with AW at spenny. Has helped to build a very good team there and I for one wouldn't mind watching that style of football at BM . Couple of points against this, first their budget , much easier to build that team when they can afford the better players , second, been ...

Help with pitch covers Some of the folded pitch covers at Blackwell Meadows need moving to a new location a few metres away to make room for the maintenance materials required for the ground staff to make an early start on the pitch restoration works over the spring/summer. Re: Darlington V Leamington

Apathy that's the word for this game , we need something to look forward to, we need a reason to get those season ticket sales going, we need a reason to look forward to next season. And quite honestly if TW is allowed another season after this inept display of recruitment, game strategy and basical...

Re: Boston V Darlington

Again no idea how this one will go, Boston have an unlikely chance of a playoff spot, on the other hand TW says we can now play without the pressure of relegation ( I'm still in the mathematically certain camp) and we can go and express ourselves , so I think we will get thumped. Sorry I am drained...

Re: Darlington V FC United

Would of liked to see more of Kit Elliott in the remaining games, if he gets some game time and of course can perform at this level we might try to extend his loan into next season, but obviously if he just sits on the bench for 85 minuets his parent club might as well take him back. On another note...

I hope we can get a decent crowd for this one 1000 plus any that can make the trip from Chester, lets get behind the team and get a result.
Probably the same starting 11, defence needs to tighten up, formation wise its anybody's guess as to what suites us best at the moment.

Re: Williams Kokolo

If we do manage to bring in a loan signing what position should we be looking to fill?
For me it would have to be a strong MF player (not a youth player), I would put Ellilott at LB he's done a reasonable job there, bringing in a new LB will not solve our lightweight MF

Re: Darlington V Chorley

Yet another TW tactical master class. Trying to see out a game and you take of Kneeshaw who was playing well and you change a CM for a LW. When will he actually learn anything? Kneeshaw was knackered and had stopped offering us anything defensively. Desperately needed another body in the middle whi...
