Re: Ryan Hall

This is not surprising as the PrideOfEvenwood have a first-team squad of 23 , which doesn't include any of the club's youth players. They have 10 midfielders/wingers and up front Adam Boyes is settling in to his usual ten-minute slot near the end of a game. It'll be a tough task keeping all that sq...

Re: Farsley V Darlington

Not long to go now till the first match, really pleased with the confirmation of the latest signings, and obviously the late and unexpected arrival of Heaton was the icing on the cake. As always, really looking forward to the start of the season, fingers crossed we can get off to a good start at Far...

Re: Farsley Pitch problems

Hard to tell from Photos I know but these are from their Halifax game 2 weeks ago. (at the time BM was looking a bit ropey) https://www.farsleyceltic.com/photos/farsley-v-halifax-town-july-19-900972.html. They played their final friendly at home yesterday. As a side note is Syers still playing for t...

Bascombe is still showing in the squad list on the official site, so maybe we can assume he's been signed but just not announced yet.
I hope so

Re: Northallerton

I would sign him up as he has potential. I would go as far to say he would be in my starting eleven. Yea got to agree this was his best showing, had a real good look at him tonight lot more controlled. the game its self , poor first half , different altogether in the second with the changes. good c...

I honestly don't think anything has been done to the pitch, if you in any doubt just compare the pitch from the same preseason fixture last year to this.

Re: Motherwell game

Yep super les that was more or less my view on the players , enjoyed the game as well we matched them at times and were on top for 10/15 minuets in the first half. Feeling more positive for this season now, yea if Campbell had looked left instead of right when the ball was chipped over for him he wa...

Re: Motherwell game

One thing that's been lacking at Darlo of late is someone who can actually score from a free kick.
This would do nicely.

So if he's not coming here, who's the money on (no pun intended). Spenny, SS, York, Gateshead, or back to Blyth can't see that one mind. Pro's and con's, Spenny, SS, York, will all offer a decent wedge, so Spenny low crowds, not sure to start, SS good crowds sure to get promoted but would have to dr...

I see no reason they wont be in the playoffs or win the league next season, but after all the investment last season and next if they don't get promoted then it might, just might make Brad think about his investment into the club.

In the light of what was said last night about Wheatley's hernia , would it be worth our while funding his op buy going private , as he's our player/asset it would be in our interest to get this done so he's fit for the start of the season, I looked at basic costing's and it's about £3000 to £4000, ...

Aspin is more experienced than the other two and has managed at a higher level but his best managerial record was in the past rather than more recently. AA and Bower have very impressive records in recent seasons.
Agreed AA and Bower know this league inside out.
