Re: Darlo V Scunthorpe

It was mentioned by the commentators that Hatfield was subbed to avoid getting another yellow which could of seen him suspended , has that time frame now passed, and he starts again from scratch ? I know there's some point in the season when yellow cards get cancelled, just don't know when,
Anyone?

Re: Darlington v Alfreton 10/02/24

According to the club website there will be a precautionary pitch inspection on Saturday morning. Surely there is either an inspection or there isn’t, the word precautionary is a complete red herring. If you are examining the pitch to see if it is playable, then that constitutes a pitch inspection ...

I see Marley Blair has left Farsley Celtic today by mutual consent, I wouldn’t be too unhappy if he came to us 👍
Just watched a few videos of him looks a very lively player.

Re: Blood on hands/heads must roll

Taken from another thread, sums up what I think as well. Those that advocate change , usually have no solutions to put forward in ideas or more importantly in personnel, as long we learn from the mistakes that have been made ,I fully support the way we are now moving forward , the really important m...

Time taken for this site to load

Not sure if anyone else is having the same issue, but uncovered seems to be taking longer to load than usual. I've tried it on phone desktop and iPad, its still the same. every other website I go onto loads normally, so I can only assume its this site. Anyone?

Get Gray in now, his services are free, if he keeps us up that will do for me. And lets face it if he can then it will show he truly can work miracles.
He has as much chance of keeping us up as anyone else .

Maybe they will announce a new manager tonight seen that the players we be getting together for training this evening , and it would be an ideal opportunity to meet them before Saturdays match, and beat some steel into them

Re: Who next?

⬆️ I don't thing Gray is the type to work in a double act. Correct. Also Hodgson is 63 years old and been out of management for yonks, and has repeatedly said he does not want to return. As long as Gray sticks to the on field stuff and DJ looks after the rest, it could work fine. I know it is a hol...

The only solution I can see is JG to go, a new manager brought in, a mini boost the budget to give him funds to get us out of this mess
If the club is going to act I think it will be this week.

Hazel scored 8 goals in 19 games after Beck left , which is still a good return . as mentioned before I honestly think Hazel would benefit from Rivers starting.
The other thing is how are posters on here copied in to the bids put in for our players, anyone?

Hazel doesn’t look interested. Simms clearly isn’t gonna be good enough after being subbed after 45 mins. Nelson just isn’t gonna be the same player he was. We desperately need a striker capable of having a shot and taking risks to drive forward. Last night was poor. If we can't get a new striker i...

Found this on the Newport website, say a bit of what Hayden's about, While naturally a defensive midfielder, Hayden has shown his versatility at a young age, having also played as a right-back and centre back last season for the Villa academy. On the deadline day signing of Hayden, Newport manager J...

Unless Josh changes our formation , i.e. this wingbacks nonsense , which we don't have the players to play that way, then I cant see us winning many games, we are just to open at the back. Yesterday was the proof for all to see.

I'd agree with this. I firmly believe that a decent manager should at least be able to mould what we have into a difficult to beat side. Lees, Lawlor, Sukar, Griffiths, Platt and Hatfield are all proven at this level and should be able to form a solid defensive unit. I'd like to see the Manager sho...

It is a bit of fun, to try and guess who the next manager will be, and to see if who you would choose actually gets the job.
