Re: James Caton
I can't forget the one time he looked like he could turn in a performance, when he cam on as a sub away at Leamington. I'd turned up with a couple of guys that I worked with and when he got subbed on I told them how s*** he was. He then - somehow - managed to unsettle Leamington enough for Stephen T...

Fuck wishing them good luck. Hope the get demolished in every single game they play and come straight back down. Good to see Andy is talking sense. Hope they really struggle back in the FL. It was Tom the cabin boy and master mate. But hey ho its a good story. But werent the graphics amazing? In original series which started on telly in1957 the characters were as stated by some of us who can remember it. Later series in colour in the 1970's had the characters names doctored. How ever ...

It was my fault. I wore a new black PVC jacket to that match. Needless to say, it never went to another game... I also think - and correct me if I'm wrong - that we played that game in our home kit, instead of the blue and yellow away monstrosity, for the only time that season. I was always attached...

Obviously a clash player, I like how he comes back to help the defence, not many strikers will do that. Has anybody thought what would happen if Styche left as he hasn't got much of a history of staying with any of his previous clubs for long? I haven't seen a Clash player like him since Mick Jones...

I think that's kind of where I'm at Harry... Although the Chokers must have taken some pleasure in our troubles they are, at heart, what we are. A club that has bumbled along in the lower leagues representing the town for decades. My dislike for Salford hinges on the lack of humility that some of th...

Oh how I've agonised over it... On one hand there is a long history of rivalry. On the other I don't want the Salford hype to go on and they certainly don't need the money. There is also Salford's fixture backlog to consider... I think I might just ignore the whole thing and resume my interest in th...

0-3 and I don't think your lads had to get out of second gear. We're very much a team in transition and we need to do a lot better at the basics. Re: What's the funniest thing you've seen watching Darlingto
One of my funniest memories was of a blanket collection for the St. Johm's Ambulance that took place at Feethams in the 90s. There was a crowd of people, all in fancy dress holding the edges of the blanket as they walked around the touchline at half time. As they walked past the stands people were g...

I was pleased too, and then I found myself trying to remember how they helped in our demise and why I was taking such satisfaction from them staying down. Wasn't it a complaint to the league that we were trying to sign a player as cover when we were under a transfer embargo?

The time to disect the season is not now but post play-offs. I've been caught with my trousers down on some predictions but I believe we will come through these games. And yet it would appear that lessons have not been learnt... I love your optimism, but you are dangerously tempting the fates and t...

Living down south as I do I haven't had the chance to see him play. The question I have is what were Harrogate doing to get him in a position to bang so many goals in for them? Confidence only goes so far in my book - you would think that a better team would create more chances and someone who can f...

Song sheets will be copied and delivered this week. Rehearsals are on Thursday evening and all day Friday. Let me remind of some facts of this 'victim': * A promiscuous history * Pissed in a shop doorway minutes before hooking up with a footballer in the street and going back to his hotel room. * A drug user (Cocaine and blow) * Tweeted about what she was going to buy her friends when the compensation c...

I turned on the TV here in Saffron Walden just after the equaliser. My wife wasn't too happy but as it went on she got more caught up in it. She nearly jumped as high as I did as that magnificent little paperboy finished so beautifully. As for Stelling claiming that "there are licence payers in Hart...
