Re: Leamington at home

Where's this rain and wind we were promise is Dennis running late? the only 2 games who decided game on, are on, looking like the rest of league got it wrong. I’m sure Spennymoor would have got a game on today. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. How easy to be smug after the event. Correct, spennymoor...

Luckily Spennymoor away tomorrow so will avoid an embarrassing late postponement again. Why they are away Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk Just a dig at Spennymoor in case any of their trolls are lurking. Spennymoor pitch was playable, just a jobworth ref, an official who upholds petty rules ev...

Darlington no confidence with pitch, surely it can't be as bad as the Tranmere v Manchester United game

Not sure his owld legs will be up to performing on a pitch that resembles a scene from 1917.
comparing
1 better pitch with pop up sprinklers, england u18 playing on it
2 better flood lights

4 better team

Re: Spennymoor game off

Anyone watch the Tranmere v Manchester United game, good job the ref who called Spennymoor v Altrincham game off was not in charge, one small bit of the pitch at spennymoor, tranmere was like a muddy field.
I rest my case.

Re: Spennymoor game off

I see Kettering did a Spenny today and tried to pretend their pitch was OK and allowed players and fans from Hereford to travel before it was inevitably called off just an hour and a half before kick-off. The pitch at Kettering looked nearly as bad as the Football League standard surface at Spennym...

Re: Spennymoor game off

A referee is obliged to consider the safety of the players when making his decision. As has been pointed out there isn't a lot of space between the edge of the pitch and the perimeter fence. Had a player done a slide tackle in the soggy area he could well have slid into the fence and got injured. T...

99% of the pitch was perfect, even that 1% the ball rolled, now calling game off for that small bit is scandalous

I repeat, there's a video on twitter which shows the ball was not running well in part of the pitch, so to describe the pitch as 'perfect' is deluded. Video evidence shows it was not 'perfect'.

That perimeter fence might be a bit more secure if there was one single advertising board to bolster it. I've never seen a ground with so little advertising in it as I did looking at the highlights. Is their fantastic business model based on gaining no revenue whatsoever? Perimeter fence advertisin...

Got to agree with Darlo Pete about the 2 turnstiles. That was another amateurish thing. Didn't believe that if there was only 863 of our fans, that there was around 1400 spenny fans. An EXTRA 600ish fans...not for me. But they were never going to say over the 900 were they. We have to take some res...

Fence was knackered after goal due to crowd surge as no crush barriers, mistake from Spenny originally not making it all ticket and then steward opening up that part. The "unsavoury scenes" bit is in the official match report so the club clearly blames us. Re: Spennymoor Away

That side holds a thousand and with a block of seats behind the goal there will be ample room. Roll on 3pm tomorrow. I think the block of seats will be 200-250, and i think you will have small section behind the other goal. It will be a big crowd as 1504 for gateshead game, with 244 away fans, and ...
