Re: old programmes

Can any fans help out with a request over Twitter. A Worcester FC fan is looking for a program from our home game V them on 26/10/2016. Looking to commemorate the first game for his new born son aged 6 days old. We knacked them 5-1 so guess it would be nice to give something back.

Re: Signings

Seems slightly odd considering we took the option on his contract only a couple of weeks ago. I wonder if we were expecting another side to come in with an offer for him and get the benefit of a fee from him. Personally think it's a shame. Think he would have been good for another 10-15 goals a seas...

Re: 3 players released

Two years ago the club appealed for other investors, saying: "Club Chief Executive Bradley Groves has guided Spennymoor to the sixth tier of English football since taking over in July 2009 and has funded this development with a seven-figure personal investment." What more "evidence" do you need tha...

Re: Notes from the fans' forum

Not seen a full write-up of last night's FF yet, but there were some good news lines to come out of it. - Between us and one other club for Dan Maguire. AA has alternatives in mind in case he doesn’t join. Maguire has gone with some of our players to Ibiza for a pre-season holiday. - Armstrong is t...

Re: Fans Forum Fri May 31st

Of anyone was planning to go along would someone mind asking some questions and reporting back. I'm sure they would be covered anyway but if not would be interested to know the answer: - who are the contracted players for next season? (Or closer to the point, who's the 9th contracted player that no ...

Re: Released players

Would anyone be interested in Scott Loach after his release from pools? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Wouldn't be uninterested. But I do wonder if the way we get value for money in the keepers spot is to go down the loan route again. Neither Hemmings or Turner let themselves down while they we...

Re: Boost The Budget 19/20

If we get some positive signings announced early next week might push it on towards £90k. Whatever happens the fans have shown once again that they are behind this club and willing to provide the support we need to keep on developing as a club.

I was one of the first to BTB last year - this year although I intend to pledge (and increase it slightly) I haven't done it yet. I'm waiting until we've beaten last year's 86k Anyone else who means to pledge but who has held off so far? Yes, I will be adding to the total and will increase my last ...

In his first interview on the YouTube channel and in the echo Armstrong says he has 9 players contracted for next season. Got thinking and could only come up with the following 8. Ainge, Galbraith, Burn, Trotman, Thompson, Wheatley, Nicholson, Glover. Does anyone know who the 9th is? Would be happy ...

Re: Leeds crumbled

The other interesting thing about derby is that their key players (in my view) are mainly loan players. Tomori (CB), Mount (CAM) and Wilson (RW) have been huge for them all season. In that sense they are kind of like us. Should they progress to the league above it may be less of a problem as their p...

Re: Mansfield Town

Seen a lot of "What did Brighton expect to achieve?". As if the best they should expect is finishing just above relegation, which is a little patronising. I think Brighton fans are perfectly entitled to want better than two league wins in 2019, three goals in 10 matches and to finish four points wo...

Re: Mansfield Town

Even mike ashley himself admitted sacking houghton was a mistake and who knows he may return there. Hughton has more integrity than to go back to work for Ashley. Seems like a long time since Darlo played Mansfield, does anyone remember that last game 😏 Unfortunately so. 5-2 defeat away at Field Mi...

Re: Teams in National League North for next season

Fair few new grounds next season. None of them particularly spectacular mind. Shame Kettering no longer play at Rockingham Road that was a proper hodge podge little non league ground. Gloucester have applied to move back to a rebuilt Meadow Park at some point next season (so new ground of sorts for ...

Re: Darlington's 'demise'....

There are loads of different systems. I'd say full time is that players train 5 days per week and have no other employment. Part time there are loads of different models. Darlo train two evenings a week Tuesday and Thursday for a few hours each time. Stockport this season have operated on a highbrid...

Re: Playoffs tonight

It's very sad, that the club feels that the only way to get fans to an away game, is to organise travel. This goes to show that they have reached their level and they couldn't support National League football. Alternatively, it could be that it is a club rewarding it's fans loyalty and providing so...

Only one I would want from York is Bartlet. They weren't very much better than us this season although they were full time. I'd still be interested in Ferguson if he became available too. Think he signed on an 18 month deal for them so he would be one that needs a contract renewal this summer. Can ...

The other problem with that is. With 800 members the DFCSG is a fairly large and representative sample of DFC supporters. Which is important as the DFCSG is the majority shareholder of the club and retains a large amount of power and influence in that respect. If you put the membership money up, it'...

Favourite has to be the 5-1 home win v York on boxing day.

Grade E: Spent most of the season scrapping at the bottom. Non-existent cup runs. Poor signings. Falling attendances. We didn't get relegated so that saves it from an F.

Very good win yesterday. I wouldn't go as far as calling it a complete performance, based on some of the chances that we conceded we still have much work to do to improved the solidity of that defensive unit. Don't think that's the best BPA will have played all season but as others have said they ha...

Good move by the club to secure Luke has definitely been one of our best and most consistent players over the last 18 months.
