Have to admit that I'm surprised he would command such a transfer fee. Good business for the club.
Why? We paid a 5 figure sum for him.

Re: From the Echo Wright attempts to bring new signings

Looked it up myself, still playing for I believe Buxton and he's only 27, so much younger than I thought. I'd have him back if he was interested. That's incorrect, pretty sure he is 29/30. Out of the 4 aforementioned in this thread, I would only look at giving Purewal another chance, didn't get a f...

If results don't pick up can see him coming in for Mendes or Caton even  Or maybe Brodie, or Fenwick. Maybe all of them.

Perhaps people's day jobs are just getting in the way of agreements being reached and decisions made? I'd be very disappointed if it's Tommy Wright. Bang average player, done nothing as a manager. Alright tezza calm down. Doesn't take a genius to work out Gray and his entourage will have freed up more cash than Chardy is getting at Whitby. Common sense.

Beck is "still on Gray's radar" according to the York Press. Mark is contracted until 2019, with another years' option in favour of the club. A very good player who we certainly shouldn't be in any rush to sell and waver at a cut-price because he is temporarily injured. Yep. Plus he's only injured ...

Why everyone keep going on about Mendes. He's dogger. Don't know what you think he's going to offer. Why sign him if he's no good? I'll back Beck until he no longer wants to be at the club or is sold. Cos you didn't realise it? Or cos your stupid. Or both perhaps. Btw Beck doesn't want to be at the...

I very much doubt anything will be forthcoming from the club. They always seem to like to keep things close to their chest. That is complete and utter rubbish and you know it. We are in the period of the greatest transparency there has ever been. It frustrates me that I am falling for your bait... ...

Scott is a good backup. Can fill a couple of spots. But if Scott stays I can see Watson leaving, especially if we decide to keep hold of Davie. Can't see Adam Koski staying either though, we already have Hunter and Portas ahead of him for cover.
