Re: Potential new investors
i dont really understand this why on earth would anyone invest in darlo with no facilities to raise extra income. if we had our own ground i could understand it but the only assets we have are the stands. People would invest on the basis that as the club moves up the league the asset that is the cl...

Smaller clubs get screwed over by bigger clubs all the time in terms of TV money, sponsorship money etc.
Smaller clubs finding a way to exploit the bigger clubs seems like fair game to me.

What about that match early on in the 93-94 season when we had an injury crisis at home to Scarborough. Some youth team player called Cooper played, but I can't remember his first name. Mark Hope played in that 6-0 defeat at Fulham if I remember, and in a match report of that defeat Phil Brumwell g...

Boro for me.
First, a good friend is a lifelong Boro season ticket holder, so I'd like them to do well for him.
Second, I'd rather the North East did well whatever the walk of life. Sport, business, culture, I want the NE to be successful.
Except Newcastle. I hate Newcastle.

A poll in the mirror has the tories 4 points ahead. Bet the editor didn't like publishing that! I'm sure the editor is fine with it. If you watch them, polls in Tory leaning papers (Telegraph, Mail etc.) are tending to show Labour close or ahead of the Tories, and polls in Labour leaning papers (Mi...

I hope it's the Wednesday and Saturday. I'm visiting England for the first time in 2.5 years next Saturday, and will arrive in Darlington for a few days on Wednesday 29th.
Obviously I'm disappointed that automatic promotion seems unlikely, but getting to see two Darlo games would be awesome!

The Conservatives would rely on any UKIP seats they win and the Ulster Unionists, but it won't add up to what the SNP will bring to the table. I'm not sure it's entirely right to say the Conservatives would rely on the Ulster Unionists. The Conservative Party is actually called The Conservative & U...

Clearly not fans, just people from the area travelling to cause trouble. I wonder if they even went to the game. There's absolutely nothing the club can do. It's a police matter. There is something the club and it's genuine fans can do. It can very visibly encourage it's true supporters to watch th...

Yep I have my credit card linked and earn points on anything bought via paypal on the card.
