Re: Rugby League

It's sad to hear that Joe Wardill from Hull KR has had to retire at 21, due to persistent hip problems. Was he playing in the first team Ed?

Re: Law changes season 19/20

Most of the ref's at this level are awful, its almost like they try too hard to get noticed and to send players off. I'd imagine most ref's don't particularly like working at this level and have aspirations to move up the leagues but many struggle to understand the laws of the game. Thought the ref...

They have changed the bar queuing system, but it hasn't made a significant difference and it is a very small step in changing peoples opinions of BM.

Re: Guiseley match thread

The ref was abysmal, there wasn't a bad challenge in the game and yet he and the linesman were suckered in by Guiseley players throwing themselves on the floor at every opportunity. Their penalty looked very soft as well.

Re: Grange Road Sign

I don't know why we can't have a proper fixed sign, that doesn't have to be removed. The temporary one's that are there look a bit naff in my opinion.

Re: Guiseley match thread

Very poor game and both sides were atrocious. To be honest our keeper apart from the penalty save had little to do. They were a big physical side, which they used to their advantage. Why on earth we kept throwing high balls to Thommo I'll never know. The pitch didn't help matters either. Great away ...

Any suggestions on pubs near the ground? The old railway station is worth a look and has a cracking beer garden. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Yeah cheers Beano, I went to the Station pub and it's excellent beer garden, food was great as well. In hindsight we should just have stayed in the pub a...

I don't like BM either, I'd prefer to be back at HP. It doesn't feel like a football ground, it feels like a rugby ground, where they play football.

Re: Grange Road Sign

The rugby club probably think the temporary flags that can be removed straight after the game are more than adequate. It's embarrassing!! I was talking to a Bradford PA fan on Friday and he said where in the ground or bar does it mention that the place is home to the football club, I had to sadly ad...

Interesting to see the FCUM won at Alfreton 2-3, which means that that both FCUM and Ashton Utd will be hoping that we beat Guiseley on Monday, to give them both a chance to avoid the drop.

Fractions cause trouble?.Well 3/4 of 1/2 the people I speak to reckon 2/5 are happy with a 1/4 of the remaining 5/16.
Well that makes perfect sense.

I'd recommend Deutschland 86 (and the first series Deutschland 83) if you're not already watching it. I'll be bereft when it finishes in a few weeks.
I've never seen them, but heard good things. I'll give them a go. Thanks. The first episode of the second series of Berlin Station was great.

I was disappointed with the Bradford PA support. If we'd been in their position and we'd been playing at Bradford PA, how many fans would we have taken? I'd like to think 700 perhaps 800.

Good performance, thought the pitch looks pretty bad, as the ball was bobbling all over the place. Thought the defence played really well and kept another clean sheet. Really looking forward to Monday.

Re: Trotman extends contract

That’s great news, really like Trotman. I expect TW to be here next season as Trots wouldn’t have signed if Tommy was moving on and would have found a club more local to him. I hope your right, Tommy will prove the doubters wrong and players like Trotman will be the cornerstone of a good team for n...
