Re: It was 30 years ago this week just gone.....

Yep not a very pleasant a experience. The Millwall fans went round the ground bashing anybody they thought was a Darlo fan. I remember our coach picked up Aidan & his friends on London Bridge. The only other experience of Millwall fans whilst watching Darlo, was when watched Darlo play about the 3rd...

Re: It was 30 years ago this week just gone.....

I'm sure two supporters coaches went that day being the first away game in the conference it was a bit of a novelty. I was thinking that too, not sure why Pete thinks we had less than 50. We had great support at most away games that season. I often travelled to the away games that season on one of ...

The thing that struck me from the Barnet clip was how many fans had replica shirts. I don't remember it being a big thing in those days, but the films don't lie.

Thanks for that Nimrod I was there. I only missed 2 games home & away all season & that was because of a holiday booked before the season started. I remember going to the first game of the season at Wycombe & someone said lets go to every game this season, so there was a group of around 10 of us th...

I was reading that if the Premier League doesn't finish the season, it will cost them £740m, that could have something to do with it?

Re: Season VOIDED

the Arena wasn’t all negative! We are drifting off topic here but we had a little spell at the start of The Arena where we would sit next to Matt Clarke's dad. When Matt scored the first Darlo goal ever and ran into the empty corner where no fans were at all, he stood up and shouted something like ...

Re: Coronavirus.

24 cases now in the Darlington area, which makes us the 7th lowest local authority area in England. Is that 7th lowest per head of population? If not probably doesn’t mean that much as I would think Darlington is one of the least populated local authorities and you would expect it to be a low figur...

The longer this lockdown goes on, then the less likely the FA decision will b overturned. Whatever the final decision is made will upset clubs & there fans in equal measure. Damned if you do & damned if you don't.

Ed get off Boris's back, he's doing a great job in a very trying situation.

Went shopping in town today & it was good to see that there was plenty of stock in a couple of supermarkets I visited. Hopefully people will stop panic buying, but somehow I doubt it.

I'd like to nominate the rest of my village apart from my neighbour, as we were the only 3 people applauding in the whole village. We plan to get out the pans tomorrow & make a heck more of a racket.

Hopefully Darlo residents showed more thanks than my village did?

No derby with South Shields next season then.
But derbies with Blyth & York, which is great. I'd imagine Kings Lynn will feel gutted, especially as there owner is likely too turn off the financial taps.

Given the postponement of sport worldwide, I'd think it's almost certain that the weekend will be cancelled. Especially if football makes a comeback. Did anybody buy there tickets in advance, I guess you'll get a refund?
