Re: Rugby League
It must have been a great game, sadly not on terrestrial TV. Wasn't it supposed to be on BBC? Comfortable win for Wigan at York. It should be a good game next Thursday as we play Leeds, followed up with a game against Castleford. You should be wishing it was Cas next. It will be very surprising if ...

Re: Rugby League
No I haven't been to many RL grounds, but hopefully when crowds are allowed back, I will be able to attend a few more away games. I think Castleford will struggle to find a suitable replacement for Powell & they will probably struggle to achieve the continuing success on the pitch that Powell has ac...

Re: Rugby League
I'm surprised to hear that Daryl Powell is to take over at Warrington from 2022. Wonder what Rob thinks about that? Does that mean that Daryl Powell thinks he has taken Castleford as far as he think he can take them?

Re: Rugby League
Sadly, you're not alone with injury hit squads. Most SL sides seem to have plenty of injuries this season, the difference between the big clubs & the rest is that the larger clubs have squad players or youth players that can more than adequately stand in for their injured colleague. The other clubs ...

Re: It's time to go
This MB will be far better off without you. Uncovered has been around for years in this form & it's previous form of Rivals. There has been many ups & downs and this MB has always bounced back. Lack of any football means there has not been much to talk about, but that will change. I for one will not...

Re: Hartlepool By Election
I think the Conservatives miss a trick by putting forward a North Yorkshire councillor, rather than picking a candidate from Hartlepool. The bookies have Labour very marginally ahead of the Tory's, as they are 10/11 & the Tory's 11/10..

Re: Rugby League
Of the 5 sides with 100% records St. Helen's, Hull, Wigan, Castleford & Catalan, the 4 English sides have looked the most impressive. Catalan struggled to put away a poor Huddersfield side earlier on today.

It was great to Mose in the studio, although I'm not sure he'll make a great pundit given that he expected Wakefield to beat Wigan, haha.

Re: Rugby League
That's the way to do it, Wigan were awesome in the second half & blew away Wakefield with a fantastic attacking display. Wigan really seem to be benefiting from having such versatile players with the like of Hardaker playing at full-back & Farrell playing at centre for the first time in his life. I ...

Re: Rugby League
Some very interesting ties in the draw for the third round of the challenge cup. The best ties have to be St.Helens v Leeds & and Hull KR v Castleford.

Re: Rugby League
I agree with COD Wakefield will be nowhere near the bottom. I think Leigh will be fighting at the bottom of the table with Huddersfield & Hull KR. Nobody really impressed at the weekend & nobody disappointed either. I think things will be a lot clearer after 6 or so games have been played. I like th...

Re: Rugby League
I didn't get to see today's games, but what a great result for Castleford, as they spring the surprise of Round 1. Not often I congratulate Rob's team. Some close contests & nobody got blown away like in previous seasons, so hopefully we'll have a very competitive upcoming season.

Yep it was a good game & full of commitment. I'm also about to watch the Leeds V Wakefield game, it could be quite close, you write off Trinity at your peril. Agreed it's great to have SL back & it's great that Sky cover every game live.

Re: Rugby League
Well that was almost a massive shock for Wigan, as we struggled to overcome a very spirited Leigh side. Some good individual performances, but some weak performances as well. Obviously, having 8 first team players out doesn't help, but you just have to get on with it. at least we had 20 unanswered p...

Re: Darlo's High Street
Just read on the BBC website that another Ministry is leaving London to set up in little old Darlo. The Ministry for International Trade is also setting up in Darlington, bringing 500 jobs. This could really help Darlington to become a boom town & of course it must be a shot in the arm for our High ...

Re: Hartlepool By Election
Yes I'll be watching with interest. The Brexit Party is no more, isn't it called the Reform Party now? I would expect the Reform Party will get nowhere near the level of support the Brexit Party got at the General Election. I think the outcome will depend on where the Brexit Party votes go too. Inte...

I think some people take things too personal on here, although you do need to be thick skinned at times. Perhaps I should reprieve the ROH, that generated a bit of banter on here.

Tough news for ex Hull KR player Mose Masoe, who faces a lifetime of struggle. Hopefully this imitative will raise lots of cash for Mose & players who suffer similar injuries.

I remember one end of season game & there was the usual pitch invasion. I walked onto the pitch & I couldn't believe how bad it was. Bone dry & full of holes, it was hard to believe that professional footie could have been played on it.
