Re: FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round - Away to Tamworth or Hereford

Guess we want to be drawn away to 43: http://www.thefa.com/news/2019/oct/16/fa-cup-first-round-draw-details-161019 - failing that, we want to be the ball that's left at the end - lucky winners this time! I can't imagine how excited I will be if we are involved in the draw on Monday. If that happens...

Re: Democracy under threat.

Hopefully MP's will now back democracy & support Boris's new brexit deal. Wonder if Jenny Chapman will support the agreement & save her seat or will she stand side by side with Jeremy & lose her seat before the end of the year?

Re: FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round - Away to Tamworth or Hereford

It would be nice to think that all that ill luck, in never doing well in the cup for so long, could be paid back all in this one season, with us getting through on Saturday, and getting the bye in the first round proper. That special position plus a good draw in the second round might also be enoug...

Robbo is right politics should be kept out of football. I'm sure there are some people that hold your political views, but they will form a very small percentage of the normal electorate.

I'd be surprised if we take less than 500, I reckon 600 to 700 will make the trip. I've been twice to Tamworth & seen us lose both times, hopefully third time lucky.

Having such a huge turnover of players is never very good for team spirit. You need to get a settled squad or you are going to struggle next season.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing. Ainge probably on paper seemed like a good signing at the time, but we seem to get more than our share off duffers that seemed to be god at the time.

Re: Rugby League

Great to see that Toronto won promotion to the Superleague, although Featherstone pushed them until the last 20 minutes, when Toronto's superior fitness started to take over. It'll be really interesting to see how Toronto do next season, I think they'll surprise a few.

I've never seen us play well at Tamworth, but I'll be travelling along with many others, at least it's nowhere near as far as Hereford.

Jeez, Johnson really doesn’t understand Parliamentary Democracy at all Is he just trying to bolster his buffoon character. Wonder what the retired Colonels and Spinsters from the Home Counties think about him as a PM https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/10094898/boris-johnson-queen-sack-no-confidence/ Sen...

They'll be interesting fixtures if correct, as usually the last fixtures involve Warrington, St, Helens, Wigan & Leeds.

I've been there for 5 long weekends so far this weekend. I find the p...

No Ed, sorry I have been working & staying in Bradford for a few days. I could actually have gone over to the DW stadium on Friday evening, but I knew the momentum was going Salford's way & the writing was already on the wall. So I taped the game to watch when I got back, along with the Championship...

Blimey I bet that was an experience they'll never forget? Still I guess the pitch is very similar to the Riverside, so I can understand how they'd want to experience the pitch at the Brewery Field.

Well the final play=off game before the Grand Final is at Wigan tonight, as they face Salford. Of course I hope Wigan win, but it just seems wrong that both sides have previously lost in the play-offs I reckon that Salford will start as favourites.

Heavy rain forecast till 5pm & then light rain till 7pm, so I wouldn't say the game will definitely be on.
