Re: Rugby League

I guess that whoever gets relegated will hope that the Toronto Wolfpack go up this season, otherwise it could be tough to bounce back next season if they are still in the Championship.

Re: Rugby League

That's some trip your planning Ed. I'm sure they're will be a few twists & turns before the end of the season. As I've said before, all the sides in the Superleague are capable of providing stunning results or play awful. Hull KR are capable of either performance, as are all the other sides at the b...

Re: BM - Surface

Thought the pitch looked better on Saturday, the grass looked a decent length and the lines were far better marked. Not perfect but far better.

Re: Darlington V Southport

From the tinshed, the penalty incident looked like a definite penalty and there didn't seem many grumbles from the Southport players, which indicated that it was a clear cut penalty.

Well if London can win in the South of France, surely Hull KR can? I reckon we must be favourites to claim 2nd place.

Shock results today as London won at Catalan & Salford beat Hull. It throws the relegation battle back into the melting pot.

Excellent performance for two weeks in a row at home, against a team that was in red hot form. I agreed with the MOTM, Hatfield is a real star and a real box to box player.

Impressive win for Wigan, sorry Ed I didn't see that forward pass and the commentary team didn't see it either. Bevan French certainly looks like a quality player and Zak Hardaker is now very consistent with the boot, which obviously won't please Rob...

Massive game tomorrow night as Wigan are at home to Warrington. Wigan should be favourites as Warrington will probably have to rest a few players in readiness for next weeks Challenge Cup Final.

Re: The Areana

The Arena still has a grass pitch and the stadium itself is sorely in need of painting as it is looking a real rusting hulk now. Can you imagine how much a full paint job would cost. Mowden Park's average crowd last season was 887 in the 25,500 capacity stadium. Does anybody know what DMP charge to...

Re: The Areana

Can’t understand the love of Bishop Auckland There is no love of Bishop, not so much love that anyone would rather play in Bishop than Darlington anyway. It's only Darlo Pete saying he'd rather play in Bishop, just to be controversial. I don't think I'm being controversial, I'm just expressing my o...

Re: Rugby League

I think the cost of bringing in effect VAR into all superleague games would be very expensive and is realistic that a side like London with crowds of around 1000 could justify the costs of VAR being introduced to their home games. perhaps you could have a partial VAR system brought in by the bigger ...

Have to admit Ed that having seen the tries on the TV, there looked like 2 forward passes for our go ahead try at the start of the second half. But some of your defending and tackles were abysmal.

Re: The Areana

My choice of grounds 1. Bishop 2. Arena 3. Blackwell Meadows However, Bishop Auckland is never going to happen. But I would never rule out a return to the Arena. DMP are in financial trouble and I could see us returning as tenants or if DMP go bust, I could see us returning as owners sometime in the...

I really rate Bascome, he looks better with each game he plays. But he was one of many outstanding performances right across the park. Good to see Armstrong acknowledged the fans. I know it's unlikely but if we have a good win on Monday, we could go top of the table for 24 hours!!!!

Trotman gave the ball away for their goal. A big positive for me last night was how our fitness levels looked really good, as we finished by far the stronger against a full-time team.
