Re: Wilson Kneeshaw

Got to agree, we don't have a big squad at the moment and we won't have a full bench of impact players, AA needs to bring in a few more players.

Re: Rugby League

Your fears about Salford beating Wakefield were well founded Ed. If I were a Salford fan I would pull my hair out. Week after week they win games they should lose then lose games they should be bankers to win. Easily the most unpredictable side in SL. Hull KR are pretty unpredictable as well, they ...

Re: Rugby League

Well really enjoyed that game, the Wigan defence was awesome and it was great to see Tony Clubb rumbling in for a try right at the end, in front of a large Wigan support. Puts Leeds in deep trouble near the bottom, which no doubt will please Ed and Rob.

Bit of a surprise tonight as Castleford throw a 10 point lead at half-time to lose 31-18 at home to Hull. Hope Wigan have better luck tomorrow.

Apparently are youth keeper was very well thought of by TW, so perhaps he could be one for the future and probably on the bench regularly as back up hopefully for Jameson.

Re: Ex Newcastle man takes manager job at gateshead

Mike Williamson sounds like a massive risk for Gateshead, as he's had no managerial experience. Everyone has to start somewhere. Had kevin keegan had any experience when he joined newcastle as manager. Add steven gerrard to that list, joey barton, frank lampard. He has an assistsnt who knows the le...

Re: Gateshead relegated to NLN

Interesting to see if they manage to cobble together a decent side, although does put another competitor for local talent into the mix. On the positive side, we will have another short away trip and they could bring a few extras down for the return leg, although it will hardly cover the cost of the...

I'm working down in Bradford from Thursday and noticed that Wigan are at the Leeds Rhinos on Friday night. Think I'll go and watch, hopefully we'll push Leeds down towards a relegation battle and at the same time pull away from the trouble near the bottom.

That's the first I've heard about a game at Harrogate Town. It shows how well we travel when a club from a higher league wants to play us at their home. Might well go and see this game.

Sorry Ed I didn't hear anything about this incident until I read your post above. It doesn't sound good for Kane when he has been moved all the way to Manchester to a specialist spinal unit. Let's hope it was just that they were taking precautions and he makes a full recovery. Not surprised that the...

Re: Tommy Wright Stratford manager

Plenty of scope for Bardish banter in Tommy's new job. What about 'some falls are means the happier to rise' or 'happy are they who can bear their detractions, and can put them to mending'? Good luck to him anyway and lets hope we can draw them in the cup, Tommy's teams often stumble in knock-outs....
