We've got to be looking at the pre-match preparation because this can't be just bad luck
It looks like it was a concern prior to kick off. Hatfield was stretching out and rubbing his right hamstring whilst waiting for the whistle to kick off.

Re: Ground share

This makes no sense. Any club could arrange to play at a suitably sized venue for the period of the restrictions if they feel it necessary. The suggestion isn’t just for Darlington. For many (probably most) clubs at our level this won’t be necessary. Using a %age of the minimum capacity required fo...

Re: Ground share

If I read your post correctly, even if a club in NLN/NLS were to play home games at say Wembley Stadium they are still limited to 450 spectators That seems bizarre and illogical. It also means there is unlikely to be a financial case to play at the Arena until those restrictions are limited Indeed,...

Re: Ground share

So in essence you’ve got nothing. Serious question would you prefer the club to go under then go to the arena? Remind me, which stadium was it that created a financial millstone that nearly killed the club three times over? This is a totally different scenario. It is a temporary move that will earn...

It’s sounding like we’re closing in on Maguire, announcement likely to be next week along with another player. Any gut feeling on the other player CR, no news on Adam Wrightson having signed for anyone plus the obvious one in Langstaff. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk It would be a pure guess but ...

Re: The Team 20/21 season

The rent is calculated on a match basis, not per annum. As far as I understand it, no games played at BM equals no rent due to DRFC to stage football matches. It’s obviously not that as if it was we could walk away at any time with no cost. I expect it’s a match fee with a minimum guaranteed matche...

Plans for the proposed National League restart in September for Steps 1 & 2 includes a caveat that stadiums will operate at 25% capacity.

This isn’t ideal for us given the gate & matchday income to turnover ratio.
If this is the case then we need to dial “A”

He has said 80% coverage of salaries for staff who are furloughed. I think it's fair to say that our players are furloughed as they are not allowed to work - so would we expect to be covered?
Does it depending they’re on employment contracts or self employed contractor status?

York have called there game off apparently. Wonder if they were worried about altringham, or want to see how kings lynn get on before playing or actually the virus? A good point that halts the slide in form. Honestly, I would’ve taken a point before kick off, and a late equaliser is always nice. Haven’t seen any highlights yet, obviously, but nice to see Omar on the scoresheet. He’s been underused lately imo. Should we not have a bit more ambition than to be s...

Pretty slim chance this game will go ahead, if not for the condition of the pitch then for the water levels in the surrounding areas. If it is off it would be interesting if an open training session could be arranged, maybe a couple of quid in to raise some funds?

Looking at the highlights of the Spendy game, there's hardly anyone there. I would have thought the actual attendanc...

The ideal scenario would be for chorley, fylde and chesterfield to stay in the relegation zone, and for Wrexham to fall in and all drop down to our division. Also, if Kings Lynn and Brackley could go up, and Blyth could pull themselves out of it then the north / south line would have to moved, possi...

Totally agree. None of them are proper Darlington shirts. Black and white hoops are distinctive and unique and I bet loads of other teams would like to have that. To be fair that first one is pretty similar to our kit from 1889 (black strip down the middle). We had stripes, quarters and a solid bla...
