Re: Farsley coverage

Still frustrated after last night. Realise its tough with barely a chance to train and work on things through and then facilities being closed due to the pandemic. But its our shape and concentration on set peices that's letting us down at the minute, we need that extra man in CM whether it be Holn...

Re: Brackley v Darlo

Unlike most on here I quite enjoyed last nights game. I missed the first goal as I was getting a cup of tea but I thought the main part of the game was quite tactical and played out in the middle of the pitch where Brackley just kept it cool and just quietly worked away. It seemed pretty obvious th...

Re: Brackley v Darlo

The thing about Sousa is he takes 2 or 3 players out of the game but then there's no-one just off him exploiting that space gained. Even in parks football they'd do that. It really puzzles me. This is the thing about Sousa I don’t understand. Surely AA has cottoned on this is what teams are doing. ...

Re: Brackley v Darlo

Too lightweight in midfield again today, we really need three solid players in there for it to work. Hatfield, Wheatley and Holness works well but without this three we get overrun, especially against better teams. We can't expect the same midfield to perform equally against Blyth at home and Brackl...

anyone got a fools guide how to get on my desk top, followed the link then just got lost, Help I think you need to drop down the little box on the right to select 1 ticket, then click the yellow "place order" banner. Re: Spennymoor Boxing Day

Thought Reid played very well again at the back and guessing he will be there if game goes ahead tomorrow. What has happened to Storey though? Barely makes the squad yet was arguably a really good prospect last season and provided some pace at the back which we totally lack? Is he injured, had Covi...

Re: Away to Bristol rovers

Agree with the above. In no way is anyone saying Armstrong isn’t the right man and that he hasn’t done well, but we can still question some recent decisions. The persistence with Reid is a problem, as is the formation at home where we get over run in midfield Providing fitness is all ok I’d like to ...

Re: Away to Bristol rovers

Got to question the selection above form ???? Is there any point. Chances of it making a difference are slim. The odds were they would comfortably beat us. Absolutely there is a point. Cant keep selecting the wrong players in the wrong positions and expect to do well. Hunt and storey formed a decen...

Get Atkinson and Reid off for gods sake, if Holness is on the bench then he is fit enough to start.Wrong selection by AA.

Re: Team v BPA

The is with one eye on next Sunday, we have to give ourselves the best chance of causing an upset. Why? The league is far more important this year. We aren't going to win the FA Cup, and the big prize for a non league club - an away tie at somewhere like Man U, has lost it's value because there won...

Anyone know is Minter Cup tied? No Good I’d have Saltmer back in, I’ve not seen anything to say Minter is an upgrade in any way. He has had nowt to do so difficult to say surely? Distribution was iffy and was all over the place on the lead up to the free kick for their goal. I’m not saying he’s no ...

Re: Darlo v Boston Match Thread

I just think we got it wrong from the start last night, trying to accommodate bringing Maguire into the side. If we wanted to give him a start then Charman or Campbell should have been rested and on the bench, and Holness or Hatfield brought in. We gave Wheatley way too much to do on his own in mid...

Be surprised if Boston can keep this tempo up. We should start to come more into it.

I’d be surprised if they end up with 11 men the way they’re going. Really dirty.

Re: Swindon away

Anyone checked the Swindon goal for offside? The "squared" ball went forward, the attacker is ahead of the 2 closest defenders, only Michael Liddle may be playing him onside but the distance he is from it and the angle make it difficult to tell. Didn't think the Rivers "foul" was a penalty. I think...

We've got to be looking at the pre-match preparation because this can't be just bad luck
It looks like it was a concern prior to kick off. Hatfield was stretching out and rubbing his right hamstring whilst waiting for the whistle to kick off.

Re: Ground share

This makes no sense. Any club could arrange to play at a suitably sized venue for the period of the restrictions if they feel it necessary. The suggestion isn’t just for Darlington. For many (probably most) clubs at our level this won’t be necessary. Using a %age of the minimum capacity required fo...

Re: Ground share

If I read your post correctly, even if a club in NLN/NLS were to play home games at say Wembley Stadium they are still limited to 450 spectators That seems bizarre and illogical. It also means there is unlikely to be a financial case to play at the Arena until those restrictions are limited Indeed,...

So in essence you’ve got nothing. Serious question would you prefer the club to go under then go to the arena?
