16 bookings in a game
Talking with a couple of friends last night we recalled a game refereed by Colin Seel in
which we think 16 players received a yellow card but as far as I can remember none
saw red.
I think the game was against Newport County. Can any readers of a certain age
confirm this

Re: Darlington V FC United
First trip to BM. Good to see so many faces I meet at away games. Pleasantly surprised with the ground and I moved around to see it from a variety of places. Thought we played okay and once Thommo got going he was a constant nuisance. Defence was excellent and the new lads fitted in well although o...

Looking at the National League table the 4 teams coming down are all south of London which means the FA are going to have to move two teams across from National League South. Looking at the league I can see us getting Oxford City and Gloucester (unless they get relegated) . Not what you'd class as p...

Re: Eindhoven
I'd like to echo Andy's sentiments. A big thank you to everyone involved in arranging this fixture and what a weekend !! The turnout was fantastic,
Not sure my liver will ever recover but the 2 nights in Eindhoven were superb and the night in Amsterdam just rounded it off nicely.

Ashlee Jones played in goal in a 4-0 defeat at Notts County. Whoever told him he was a keeper must have been on glue. I could have kept better than him !!

No real surprise. Been raining all night and forecast to continue all day. Shame, as if we performed the same as last week would have been a great chance of three points.

Pretty sure I remember it being reported that 4 went to see us play Torquay in the Todd/Staunton season. A poster on here I go to games with told me a fabulous story of him going to Northampton in the 80s and he was the only away fan. They sang to him "You`ll see us all outside" ......brilliant! Alm...

Re: URGENT: Darlington v Stamford - New Ferens Park (Durham)
Sutton Coldfield's home pitch is plastic so Stamford will have to play there like it or not. Our regular home pitch is not plastic so I suppose it is up to them whether they accept the use of a plastic pitch instead. They are facing relegation and need every point they can get. If they feel they hav...

From the official news thread "there will be a week when we will have to play three games". I don't remember a 3 game a week situation before, I've been around for 20 years + Season 1985/86 is the worst I can remember. After a horrific winter we had a backlog that saw us play 8 games in 17 days bet...

Flat Cap Day
Darlo fans are invited to wear a flat cap to Stourbridge on Saturday in memory of Lance Ireland . Lance who was from Birmingham followed Darlo up to his death in 2011. Distinctive for his ever present flat cap, friends will wear flat caps to the game as a tribute to his memory.

Bishop's game is on tonight. 0-0 at half time but Bishop down to 10 men.
Bit worrying what sort of impact tonight's game will have on the pitch but on the bright side it's forecast to be dry tomorrow
