Re: Guiseley
They really pushed on in that first 20 minutes but without creating THAT much. A few digging out Watson again. Thought he was very good tonight. His only error of the game was the loose clearance which one of the best players in this league (Felix) ran in and tucked away. Apart from that he handled ...

It's not that bad of a draw at all. There should be 4500+ there easily so there's more money into the coffers...
I'd much rather play Walsall than the likes of Harrogate/York/Altrincham which I was fearing when they were pulling all those home teams out!

Re: Gateshead game...
Laing is the new whipping boy I see. Did very little wrong yet his partner alongside him is exempt from any form of criticism. Laing was abysmal tonight. Was I watching a completely different game tonight? Yes there's a few stray passes which will happen when you're trying to play out from the back...

Re: FC United V Darlington match thread
Anyone who was there today will understand when I say that I was both so relieved and yet completely alarmed by today's proceedings. This very much sums it up for me... I couldn't believe how we just couldn't keep the ball for long periods of time against 9 men. Also the amount of times we found ou...

Re: Brackley Away Sat
Looking at the video of their match last night, Brackley could have hit double figures had they taken more of the many chances they created. They carved Alfreton open time and again. As far as full-back goes, Trotman is comfortable with both feet and could do a job on the left and Elliott could slo...

Re: Spennymoor tonight.
Appeal has gone out for any witnesses to the flare just a pity they can't be made to pay the heavy fine. How on earth can the club get fined for this though? Is there any proof that it was a Darlington fan that threw it? Yes it came from the 'Away' end but for all we know it could have been a fan o...

Re: Darlington FC V Curzon Ashton Match Thread
First 25 minutes was brilliant to watch. Curzon never had a sniff... We just had no idea how to react once they had scored. Not too disheartened though. Last year we beat Salford in the season opener and went on to have a shite first half of the season. Give the lads time... I'm sure it'll click soon.

Amazing weekend. Lovely city, plenty to do and the locals are so friendly. Would genuinely go back there again without a doubt! So what's everyone's plans for this trip? Are people staying in Eindhoven or Amsterdam?
Didn't Tommy say at the fans forum that all the players will be going out after and fans are welcome? Would be nice to know where they plan on staying too!
Proper buzzing for this like.

Social Media. It's an absolute shambles, I know the person running it can only do so much; it's the spam that is auto-generated with links to the website constantly - That does my head in. There's no social interaction, no element of connecting with fans & stuff. It's went backwards in the last few...

I would like a copy of the 2-1 win vs Bradford City, also on Sky from 08/09 season. For me the only worse player than Brown tonight was Collins, says it all really. Shocking positional sense, shocking in the air and shocking distribution. Yes we won and yes I'm probably going a bit over the top, but we haven't learnt anything from last season. What exactly does Gregan do if he can...

A real shame to see Army leave. For him to come back from that horrible injury and provide us with the performances he has is nothing short of exceptional. I'll never forget his hat-trick at Whitby, that'll live long in the memory!
All the best Army, wherever you end up. A proper genuine bloke.

Pleased for Leon, been immense for us this season. Don't quite know how but he keeps getting better! Let's hope he continues into next season.
Also hope Gaskell stays on... Been vital in our run in and definitely has the ability/skills to play in the National League North.

Unreal today, what a day!!! Can't get over how we managed that. We were so poor for the first 30 minutes and then decent until HT, should have had one before the break. Then second half...... wow. All Darlo really, even when they scored it was Browny error. Then Gaskell, who dislocated his shoulder ...
