Re: It's time to go
Hopefully the NL clubs go ahead with no confidence vote and he is ousted before the season ends to hammer home the point how inept and incompetent he is/was. At the same time getting rid of Mark Ives Mr "Eh Emm I cannot be blamed for previous errors".

Re: Punishment for the Boston game
This absolutely makes my blood boil our league is run by a bunch of incompetent, immoral spineless back stabbing arse####s . We lost over £100k this year already because no one took minutes on whether grants or loans was discussed any fines or points deductions for the secretary NO! I hope every tea...

Re: Not playing the Boston match.
As the season is null and void no reason for points deduction or relegation . Believe NL have bigger issues over corruption and lack of leadership. I certainly hope DJ and other NL club leaders push for answers how last season was handled.

Re: Player of the season
Wheatley for me too, you know what you get and we would have conceded a lot more goals if he was not involved. Any one of our forwarders next Sousa, Rivers, Campbell or Charman good in some games but lacking end product at times that frustrates us all, but that is why they are at step2. Roll on pres...

Re: Darlington V Hornchurch Trophy Quarter Final
Sousa is a luxury player because of how he blows hot and cold. When he’s hot, he’s devastatingly good. But when he’s marked out of the game he’s just dead weight for the team to carry Would agree Sousa and Charman would be more likely to be picked up higher up the pyramid, but let’s say Campbell has...

Re: Darlington V Hornchurch Trophy Quarter Final
Should be a cracking game as whoever loses season over, no "we can now concentrate on the league" remarks. A few dry days now to improve the pitch and hopefully we stay injury free.
If Mcmahon fit still believe Hedley should be in the starting line up as defensively he is better and roll on Saturday

Understand Premier league West Ham owner is funding their stay in Darlington on Friday night to better prepare which is generous of them. I would like to see Hedley keep his place ahead of Mcmahon and keep Omar in from the start

I understand the NL have charged Darlington for failing to fulfil Boston fixture, can the NL be even more stupid than we all thought? Instead of doing this chase up clubs who haven't voted and make a bloody decision.

Re: League restarts 6 February
Looking at the responses Ollie Bayliss has published. If the vote is loans or curtail. Then 14 in NLN would vote to curtail along with 5 in NLS - 19 in total. Wouldn't surprise me if Billericay, Bath and Braintree voted to curtail mind which would give the majority. Hypothetically, and if the above...

An article in today’s Echo suggests that even if our league season ends we will continue in the FA Trophy. “ The Buildabase FA Trophy is currently due to continue which means Quakers will be in action on Saturday February 6 when they host National League side Wealdstone ar Blackwell Meadows. We are, and rightly so, continuing to prepare and plan as normal, unless the rug is pulled beneath us from the DCMS. Then the club will obviously review its options.

Re: Season at risk of finishing early
I am slightly confused if it is highly likely the season will stop why is DJ sanctioning AA to take additional players on loan and additional costs, either he believes grants will be changed to loans or more worryingly it will be voted by NL to continue playing against wishes of NLN and NLS teams? N...

As others have said, any sign (no pun intended) that the relationship between the RC and the FC is improving can only be good news. Prosperous sporting teams in Darlington can only be a good thing in terms of financial income, community engagement and public health. I'm sure the infrastructure comm...

Re: Farsley coverage
One problem is the discovery of Sousa, yes the lad can be brilliant at times but it causes problems with having a formation that we know works with the players we had already. We need 3 in the middle and drop one of either Sousa, Rivers or Campbell. Soussa and Rivers are both dribblers into the box...

Last night will certainly have given AA a lot to think about. He has a plethora of attackers but cannot find and stick with a winning pair. Campbell not a lone striker but works hard , great right foot and blistering pace. Charman again great pace, two good feet, in out with injuries needs a good ru...
