This (I think) five part documentary on Thatcher that’s currently being shown on BBC 2 shows/reminds us how magnificent she was. She makes current leaders look like schoolchildren 😢

Re: Local Elections / Darlo council

I still view Darlo as a Tory town because that’s what I grew up with.

When our fantastic town returns a Tory MP again, I will think about moving back home.

None more important? Do you actually think your life is more important because of how you voted!?

Not only dim, but selfish as well. What a look.
Are you hard of understanding as you do not not appear to know what “none more important” means?

Re: Democracy under threat.

Sadly those who voted UKIP to force the leaving thought that once the referendum took place it was a done deal and they went back to their "natural" parties. Big, big mistake. Yes, I was annoyed at Farage downing tools after the referendum (although he did deserve a breather) as the pressure needed...

Well, perhaps Tezza can clarify what he meant. If he was joking about mental health issues I agree it's not funny and it's unnecessary. Well here is what he posted in this thread: Have to admit it is becoming more and more predictable, repetitive & Monotonous. Has to be in a lonely and sad place. P...

To be fair to the author, at the end, he does state that the article has been written to be debated but, yes, it's half-cocked. It reads like he is putting forward an hypothesis without actually finishing it.

Last season, the team in 7th place had 73 points - Darlo would have to win all remaining 10 games to get to 69.
But last season the playoffs just meant the top 5, this season will involve the top 7.
Did you read what I typed?
