My thinking was that FA Cup takes priority regardless of league placing.

Re: 13th August - Darlo v Boston
I am led to believe that HP pitch will be touch and go for then. We are due to play our 1st home game at HP v Marske Utd on Tues 16th Aug.

Re: Wearmouth injury
Assuming that DFC knew about his medical condition when he signed, why has the operation been postponed so long? Probably down to NHS waiting lists. I doubt Darlington could afford to ( or indeed want to) be paying for private medical treatment Bishop Auckland Supporters Club contributed to the cos...

Re: Heritage Park
Obviously, I'd love us to be back in Darlo asap, but let's be honest, HP is a great facility and by the sound of things, the pitch is going to be the best around. Looking at some of the pictures, it would seem there is a fully integrated sprinkler system which allows the pitch to be slicked up at h...

Re: The Squad for the run in
I noticed David Mitchell was there in a tracksuit on Sunday. He could be a possibility at Right Back on Thursday / Saturday if needed. Should be a lot stronger after being a regular for Bishops all season David Mitchell left Bishops earlier in the season to join Norton. He did improve at Bishops st...

Re: Gary brown
Bishop have applied. If they finish in the top 3 and the teams above dont take pomotion then they can. We have been on a great run since Jan, resulting in us reaching 2nd before yesterday's disappointing defeat v W.Bay. Games in hand for other teams makes it almost impossible now to finish top 3 bu...

Pitch covers
I see we are using the pitch covers for the area in front of main stand tonight in the hope it will protect the HP pitch from frost ahead of tomorrows game v Norton. Have you guys used them before and have they done the job required?
Thanks in advance...

Re: HP Pitch
The majority of the pich was fine after Tuesday but there were sections that were particularly bad with massive divots. Bishop might get their game on but I'm doubtful about ours given the rain today. If ours is on I'm sure yours will be on tomorrow. As long as no standing water game will surely st...

Re: Saturday 9th January
Did Bishops postpone that game because of the pitch? Both teams are at home on Jan 23rd so I assume one team will have to postpone or bring forward that one. No clashes in Feb that I can see. Marske have switched their FA Vase tie to Billingham Synthonia, ten miles away. We now play West Auckland a...

Re: bishop home game off tonight,no surprise there
Given the underlying issues at Bish (it's not just the pitch that floods - but the surrounding area too), would they not be better laying an artificial surface. It won't help us, but moving forwards it would ensure they lose far less games. If Sunderland move in, then it might be a non starter, but...
