Re: Full blackwell

To fill the ground you need the opposition to take up their full allocation of tickets.
I would be very surprised if they bring 50 fans to the game, especially now that it is on the tv..
I would be happy (and surprised) if we get somewhere near 2000.
Hope i'm wrong mind.

Re: Most Consecutive Wins ?

Not sure what our record is but we've won more than 6 in a row in all competitions fairly recently. You can see the recent results on http://www.darlostats.co.uk/ During the 2012/13 Northern League season we won 17 games on the bounce between Boxing Day 2012 and the 15th April 2013. During the 2014...

Side note, a bird s*** on me when I was walking home after the game. Since Darlo had already won before it happened, I hope the supposed good luck from that happening carries over to next week and we can make it 5 in a row and an FA Cup 1st round proper!! :D I should dump her and get a new girlfrie...

Yeah But I must say that judging from what I saw it was great to see an additional 100+ Leamington fans cheering the Darlo after our victory..

Not at all. The draw said Chasetown. The commentator followed up with Halesowen for some strange reason

I have little time for either side to be honest. Clearly remember Bolton when Phil Garside was in charge during their time in the top flight, He put the suggestion forward to the premier league to close and prevent promotion into that league. If I remember correctly he did the same with the Champion...

Thought Bell played very well while he was on, pacy and tricky. However, I would like to see him when playing against better opposition. No disrespect to Bishop Auckland intended.

I think we should forget about Maguire if York and Spendy want to chuck money at players then we need to walk away, we still are an attractive club to many a player at this level so we should be able to bring in a decent couple of strikers. Don’t understand why we’d need to walk away. We offer him ...

Whilst I don't normally agree with you Polarbear as you are a very strange person at the best of times but on this one I do agree. Spenny have offered eye watering money to 3 Blyth players, and you can bet your bottom dollar that a) we want all 3, b) they won't all get a regular game there, and c) it's more about denying Darlo than improving their squad. I laughed out loud. Spenny signing a player just to deny you lot? Are you...

How was Thommo picked as MOTM, he was one of many that had a sub standard game. Thought it should have gone to Hughes, who again was terrific in the heart of our defence. Styche had a real mare of a game and missed a few very good chances. Styche wears his heart on his sleeve and I was stood near t...

Agree with most of that but I would keep Burn as centre back alongside of Hughes. I know he wasn't at his best last Saturday, but still made a couple of very good blocks when Southport had shots at goal. Also, he is developing an understanding with Hughes while Galbraith has never yet played with Hu...

Budget wasn’t sustainable as we weren’t bringing in the fans to sustain it. Attendances had dropped 16% last season. Personally feel as though the over-inflated budget wasn’t all Gray’s doing.
