Re: FA Trophy travel fund raising Weymouth
Everyone is entitled to do what they feel is right, I am of the opinion that it is a chance to get to Wembley and for our level it's an achievement to get there. I believe that the club and players are not stupid and take everything that's happening into account to be as safe as is possible during ...

Re: Darlington V Telford
We are unfortunate with Hunts injured but we can't recruit with a view to "rotate with Hunt". Hunt played a full league two season last year I doubt he had any intentions coming to us to rotate with another player. Ultimately McMahon was brought in as our other leader / organiser at the back it is ...

I think Liddles a great player but a lot of goals and chances seem to be coming down that side.Maybe he needs to stay back a bit more instead of supporting the attacks or alternatively someone drops in for him if he does. Laing did a great job bringing the ball out from the back yesterday but I have...

Re: Back to Basics Boston on Tuesday
Can see a number of changes on Tuesday although I don't think we can completely change the team, Boston are one of the favourites for the league and will be a tough proposition. So many players need game time or likely to be back in - Sousa, Hatfield, Maguire, McMahon, Watson, Laing, Minter & Atkin...

Sign him on the name alone.
He has obviously played at a high level but the fact a couple of moves have been after short periods might indicate hes inconsistent maybe?
That said from what I saw we need that ability to break defences down which he could bring.

Hope he can stay fit as we need him to play alongside Hatfield and/or Wheatley.
Good player, amazed hes not been able to play higher up but thats our good fortune.

Re: Latest friendly
Not hopeful that the season will begin as scheduled. Looks increasingly likely to me that there will be no football at our level until 2021 unless we can survive via live streaming of games. Another possibility could be [b ]switching to a Summer Season say March to October 2021 [/b] to avoid the wi...

Re: Who will follow Wigan Athletic into administration?
Plans afoot for a salary cap in the National League as well. 900k limit in the National League, 600k at our level is what’s been proposed. a good idea. wonder how it will be policed though? will some clubs 'get round' this by adding extras to the overall benefits package for players (free houses, c...

Re: Maguire & Langstaff Released
It’s sounding like we’re closing in on Maguire, announcement likely to be next week along with another player. Any gut feeling on the other player CR, no news on Adam Wrightson having signed for anyone plus the obvious one in Langstaff. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk It would be a pure guess but ...

Hello again Bury fan (returning) in peace. Firstly I never got back to you all following on from our visit to Darlington back in February, in case any of you need reminding it was the game against Guiseley. So, I apologise for bringing that result back up as every Darlington fan I spoke to assured ...

If Mowden go bust there's a stadium we can probably buy for a quid! Not that we could realistically afford to run it. It might get demolished and we might be able to use some of the land, you never know. Anyone got a spare £10 million? Let them demolish 3 sides then ask them to leave the Main Stand...

Does anyone know of last years pledges how much did the club actually receive? Only ask as people circumstances change.I know the issues the guy who does sponsor a goal has sometimes collecting money.

Just been on, £36298 total......If like me you are lucky enough to be in work then you are not spending on much else so I think people will put in more.
Also, AA is doing a great job and Darlo fans clearly have faith in him.
