I don't quite follow. What exactly is the Hebburn manager marking other managers on and why?

If you were only posting while you waited for a takeaway Joel, I'd order from somewhere else next time. They've been over an hour now.

Re: If the pitch is fine......
I remember this game from 1997 at Feethams. It wasn't called off, but it was a damn sight windier that day than it is now. Also in this story is a reminder that all was not rosy at the club, even before the arrival of George Reynolds and the Arena. A lot of people on here seem to remember Feethams v...

Sure I heard somewhere that Peter Kirkham went into property development and did pretty well for himself. Paddy Collins did something similar too.

Re: The people you thought were dead but aren't thread
I thought that 70s and 80s impressionist Mike Yarwood was dead. Turns out he's still alive at the age of 71.
He lost popularity, went off the radar and battled with the booze for a few years, but very much still with us!

Re: Snow Dome
If it is a separate enterprise with S&S, why meet with the administrator of the football club? What S&S do with their land would be nothing to do with DFC or Harvey Madden. Of course, being the BBC, this could be news from Monday morning two weeks ago.

"weekly expenditure of around £80k per week"... Jesus, the BBC don't improve do they? It was only £20k a week at its peak (reportedly) and will probably have halved now.

The Conference would probably relegate us this season AND make us start of -20 pts next season as well if we did that.

Very strange bloke. I can't work out what the benefit of doing that interview was from his own point of view? He might have even got some of Pools' own fans a bit worried saying stuff like crowd numbers are disappointing, and how he won't plough money in forever without help from the council (differ...

On the subject of bottles, the Carling currently sells for £3.30. Would it make sense to round this either down to £3 OR up to £3.50, just so that more people would have the correct change on them, and the queue might go down a little bit quicker?

Superb effort from all involved today, what a rollercoaster! However the issues that exist now are essentially still the same as they were. Raj Singh still needs to confirm his position & how much he is prepared to negotiate regarding the club's debts. Does anybody know if any new meetings are sched...

I will never understand what S&S were thinking when they used the stadium (with its many covenants) as security against the loan of £1.7m to Houghton. It simply isn't / never was worth the value of the loan. It's like me lending someone £100, secured against their Mars bar.
