Re: Ground share

We have some petulant fans. Do they want consulting when a player goes for a s***? They want to know the ins and outs of a fart and it’s EMBARRASSING. Just because you put a few quid in it doesn’t give you the right to know everything, if you want to get more involved then put yourself forward!

Re: Players past/present

Worst Player: Noel Whelan takes some beating in this category! Worst Goalkeeper: Bertrand Bossu was absolutely useless and howler prone in his short time with us. Worst Debut (compared to other performances): Anthony Griffith had a nightmare at Stockport in a 5-2 defeat in one of the Dave Penney se...

Players past/present

Just something that’s probably been done 1000 times before but something I’ve been thinking about recently! Plus it takes away from some people’s negativity about the team at the minute. Answer all if you can and say something about your decision. Since leaving Feethams who has been: Worst Player Wo...

Re: Grange Road Sign

Two words..."Tin" and "Pot" we are Darlington football club. We've been on some amazing journeys, some not so. One thing that gripes me, lack of respect from the rugby club. It's a fuckin sign, make us feel welcome! To be honest I hate the place. I hate it too and hate the rugby club too as I know ...

Re: Sporting Village

I still don't really grasp the concept of it all, or how this is going to bring anything useful. What other sports are going to be played here, in this village exactly, if the football club and cricket club aren't involved? I'm, quite frankly, surprised the council have underwritten this loan. Ther...

Not far wrong there from what I hear on the grapevine. Fee isn’t that great but we can’t afford turn it down and need to cut the wage bill.

Re: Sporting Village

Just going to put this out there. What if the rugby clubs merged to make this more feasible and DRFC wanted to sell BM to help fund this? Surely that land could be worth a few bob and a developer would pay this? It’s a bit of a wild suggestion but probably something that would need to be thought abo...

Re: Rumour mill

Darlington is in County Durham, it is the largest settlement in County Durham as well while we go off topic. Saying it isn’t is like saying York isn’t in North Yorkshire because they also have a Unitary Authority. Also let’s hope this new GK is announced soon!

Re: Covered seating reminder

So that’s £16 to sit down? Rather steep for this level, not that it effects me with my boycott of anything the rugby club could benefit from (I give money to the club in other ways before someone brings that up). Why would the rugby club benefit from the gate money? The Rugby club benefit financial...

Wonder how we came to win the North Riding FA County Cup, when as far as I know we've always been in Co. Durham. I wouldn't have thought we'd have qualified? Darlington is in the Tees Vally Pete NOT Co Durham.. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk Darlington is still ceremonially in County Durham, ...

It's clearly commercially sensitive. It would provide details over cost based and split of revenues which no sensible company would ever do. When you spent money on a burger at Heritage Park the club didn't get a penny of it - did you complain then? When you spent money on a beer at Heritage Park t...

Re: Signage for Darlington FC

Not sure if this has already been looked at or in the process of happening. As we can't have a sign at the entrance to BM (I believe due to the DRFC not wanting us to have one ) can we not approach the council to put up the brown direction signs on the approach roads roundabouts etc. And one on the...

Seem to remember Leon Britton play against us in the FA cup for Swansea, think the final score was 3-1 to the Swans and he played really well. One player that I always remember had a good performance against us one game, but don't think he lived up to much in his whole career was Pablo Mills.
