Re: Rugby League

Well it's half time in the Cas v Leeds game and Cas have torn the Rhinos a new one! Being a Rhino's fan it's tough to watch but Leeds aren't good enough and have a lot of players missing but Cas (who also have players missing) are unstoppable! The more I see them the more I'm convinced they are by f...

Re: English cricket.

The good thing about Cook hanging about, is that he'll be good for Root whilst he's finding his feet as captain. If Bairstows keeping had been more consistent he may have came into the selectors minds as a possible captain, but for now he just needs to concentrate on that part of his game. Again ag...

Spot on but it had to be his decision.
It's a decision he'd earned the right to have imo.
Cookie will help Rooooot with the Captaincy in the future.

Batting still looking strong, there's a few question marks in the bowling though.

Option 2 for home and option 1 for away for me.

Not that fussed about the away shirt tbh but option 2 is the stand out for the home one imo.

Re: Kids In Tin Shed

I feel like loose segregation is the best bet as suggested. The tin shed being a designated "home end" and away fans being welcome everywhere else will see a lot of them complain, but frankly, I don't care if it makes life easier for the volunteers and our own fans. We've been to our share of open,...

Re: Constructive views on the Blackwell experience

Just a point on the toilet issue. During the two busiest times for toilet use, which are the 15 minutes leading upto kick off and at half time, the queue which snaked back to the turnstile area appeared to be entirely made up of able bodied males. As the toilet area consists of male, female and dis...

I thought Carts had a great game yesterday, surely he should be starting regularly!

Re: Constructive views on the Blackwell experience

We could stick a fuck load of toilets behind the tinshed. Would take up no viewing space and there's loads of land back there. The clubhouse was open to all after the game. There was an announcement as such at full time. I don't think BM feels any closer to town than the Arena to be honest but depe...

I hope Cook stays as Captain, top 4 is now sorted (when fit); Cook, Hameed, Jennings and Root. Keep Bairstow as wickie, Stokes as all rounder. Ali as first choice spinner, seamers pick themselves (again when fit). We're still in a good place just need to put India behind us, this team will become th...

I've got myself a ticket for Boxing Day but forgot about my lad who's back from Uni.
If anyone should find themselves with a spare ticket please bear me in mind.

Re: Cricket - I've got a semi to look forward to.....

That's totally crushing. 99 times out of 100 Stokes would bowl that out. The balls he bowled weren't great, but Brathwaite was unreal. Still England fared better than expected. Reaching the final is ahead of expectations. Agreed but 19 wanted off the last over............gutting! Me? I'd've put Roo...

Re: Cricket - I've got a semi to look forward to.....

Gutting way to lose - at the end of the 19th was the first time I thought we were ahead of the game. Unfortunately that's the way T20 goes - all Brathwaite had to do was pick out a fielder one of the first 2 balls and we could well have won the game. An outstanding effort to reach the final. Our wh...
