Could he not just play those away games we have in Lancashire?
Where has Heaton gone?
Did we get any money for the transfer or even swapped him for a massive goalscoring CF?
Hope that was an attempt at humour :| :|

Re: Darlo v York

554 tickets now sold for the York end. Decent effort. What's the capacity of that side of the ground? Is it 600 or 800? Hopefully fair few darlo fans will be down too. Would do wonders for cashflow if we could have 2500+ down at BM. Especially if we can get a FA cup bonus the following weekend too....

Re: Gloucester V Darlington

I’d peddle Heaton, Holness, Hedley and get a proper right back and centre forward. If we could get shot of Laing to I would and bring in a new centre back. Watson can cover centre back and full backs and Bascome and Wheatley can cover Atkinson and Hatfield. Not difficult. You would get rid of a pla...

Re: Gloucester V Darlington

It seems like players who don’t play suddenly become world beaters. Atkinson in the middle means will have Wheatley, Homless, Bascome and Hedley as reserve centre midfielders and no recognised right back at the club who is fit. Laing needs dropping, He’s too soft. I don’t care if he can play these ...

Re: Gloucester V Darlington

2.1 down. Can we start a Buy a Forward fund.? Campbell has 5 already doesn't he? I'd be more interested in funding a defensive coach at this rate. This has become really worrying form away from home. It doesn't seem like we play particularly poorly, but we leak stupid goals and don't score enough t...

Re: Spenny

Went for a look at Spenny on Saturday as I didn’t fancy the drive to Kings Lynn.Best described as just another run of the mill team and fortunate to win against 10 men with an injury time goal. The pitch is still like a ski slope although it is in very good nick and there is building work going on at...

I don't believe some of the pessimistic opinions on here. On chances created and possession, we should have won. If we had won then we could well be in the play-offs. We are also nearer the play-offs, than a relegation spot.
By my reckoning the play-offs are 8 months away.

Do we actually have one or is this something else the rugby lot are making an arse of.The pitch wants two inches of grass off it and the marking out is a joke.By the end of the game today they had nigh on disappeared.

P.s. Wasn’t the pitch absolutely terrible. How can you play football on that? Of course, that’s the idea. The worst pitch I’ve ever seen for this time of the season. No wonder Rotherham knocked it back a couple of weeks ago.About as flat as a corrugated sheet with three inches too much grass. That sa...

A powder-puff, half-hearted, glove-wearing fanny who typifies why we’ve struggled the last couple of years. I’m not convinced by Bascome either, he seems a bit sluggish and lightweight. Also, how crap are the Rugby Club? The club clock, their club clock, is still not telling the right time - how difficult is it to organise someone to wind it up/reset it, or fix it? Either that or brick it up, as to me it...

This is just another example of the gulf between us and our friendly landlords. If indeed the groundsman has gone and they have done bugger all about it and just let one of their “volunteers “ have a go at the pitch ,then we certainly have a right to kick off about it. We desperately need some form of sprinkler system. Spennymoor now have 20 pop up sprinklers with the new football league standard pitch, you could always borrow some water, just turn up with buckets. Also spennymoor will have no problem getting pitch waterlogged in a dry spell this season. [/quote]...

We wont get bullied in the middle if we can play him and Holness together.
Or a fully fit Wheatly in there with him could be a bit tasty.A lot to look forward to for this season on yesterday’s showing.
