Re: Nuneaton....

From the commentary, another poor referee who nearly cost us the win. Any chance of appealing against the Holness red card? Thank heavens for Thommo and our away supporters. Can't appeal a sending off for two yellows. Thanks, real_darlo_85. Thought his first card was unnecessary, probably too over-...

Re: Nuneaton....

Our defence is crap in recent games so we should just go for it. Overload the wings with the wing backs and get the ball int he middle ... centre midfielder late runs into the box are missing so hopefully we get that sorted in this game. Hope to see our new signings in action, think they will start...

Re: Nuneaton....

By all accounts, Trotman had a good game and instrumental in one of our goals through a great run and cross from the flanks. I hope he can repeat that on Saturday, but we also need that target man to bang the cross in.

Probably sold off together with the rest of the family silver, Styche / Syers / Saunders / O'Hanlon / Hughes etc to plug holes in our budget!

He will probably get a hat-trick, but only if it matches his gloves ;)

Re: Omar Holness

How does Holness come to be playing for a North East Non League Club? His background seems to be playing in USA , in college football and then MLS etc. There is no mention that I have seen of any connection with the UK, let alone the North East. I am sure he never left the USA to play part time foo...

Their form is only just better than most of the relegation strugglers. 1 win in last 5,is this a deliberate ploy as perhaps they see the playoffs as a means to generate some excitement? ;)

Re: Williams Kokolo

If we do manage to bring in a loan signing what position should we be looking to fill? For me it would have to be a strong MF player (not a youth player), I would put Ellilott at LB he's done a reasonable job there, bringing in a new LB will not solve our lightweight MF TBH we need both as well as ...

Thought he had gone on a transfer, not just loan. If that is the case, then we still have the option to recall him for the last few vital games of the season as he is much better than Henshall or any others on the bench.

Tide of opinion seems to have turned against TW since the Hereford game. Looks like the last straw to give away such a strong position in a crucial relegation battle. Our new strip should be white like the flag waved in the 2nd half.

Is there a projected closing date for the poll? Surprised that supporters of one side or the other have not stuffed the ballot box electronically, spoofing IP & email address! Looks very much like it is going like Brexit, so let's just kick the can down the road. ;)

Well that sorts the Ainge situation for this season at least. He is now a centre back. Probably more to this than is being said because East York’s isn’t that far compared to the commute for some of our players.Still, sorry to lose him. Someone on the Tin Shed reckoning it was about the GPS thing and...

There is the Nuneaton factor to consider - whether they manage to fulfill all their remaining games or not. Would not wish the demise of any club, but we would gain most if that happened. Thanks for pulling the stats together. We could all sleep more soundly in our beds if we could pull out a win at Hereford on Sat. OK we have been inconsistent this season so not beyond the realms of possibility that we could put in a shift and bring 3 pts home

Sure that TW subs off any player who scores twice so they can't get a hat-trick and thus keep the match-ball. Mind, that doesn't happen much these days!

never mind that, i just pity the fans who were not there to see a cracking goal from Kneeshaw and the lads. Contender for Goal of the season, certainly the best I have seen in 2019.
