Re: Darlington V Farsley

If the league decide to declare this season null and void I wonder where that will leave thommo standing with his club record goal scoring exploits - will they be expunged too? Perish the thought. I just can’t see this happening. You can’t take away goals and results. You can’t erase history in thi...

Elliot and Connel

I’ll remember him dropping the ball over the line against Walsall, which cost us a place in the 2nd round. Started well but his form dropped off badly and his lack of availability made this inevitable. Elliott is a better keeper and we won’t miss Connell. Glass half full there Gramps? I’ll remember...

Re: AGM

Got to admit that I don’t fully understand business accounts. What I don’t get though is that DJ said a year ago that lessons had been learnt and this year they would budget based on no cup run and lower attendances as they had learnt their lesson and the club must run within its means, hence large...

Re: AGM

Hospitality is grossly overpriced this season when you think about it. The food has a Fawlty Towers gourmet night about it. It was better value last season but still not great. If you add on what a season ticket holder has already paid, you’re getting £5 worth of food for £50 which means the balcony...

The government declaring war on corona virus is akin to the Italians declaring war on Abyssinia. I mean really?

Speaking to a few consultants today at Janes Cook and they agreed the media circus is totally over the top.

Re: Our run in......

My predictor currently says you'll need 67 points for a playoff place. But tbh for us that means 68 as our goal difference is so poor. The current prediction is that Gateshead will climb to 6th with 68 points, Chester will finish 7th with 67 points. We'll come 10th with Spenny, and Guiseley ahead o...

Said it was 17 shots to 4 on fans radio. It didn’t sound like a battling win. Created enough chances to score 4 or 5 goals.

They used to say that the football clubs losses were used to offset against Bulkhaul profits to reduce the overall corporation tax bill but I don’t know if this is true or not.

Gibbo isn’t your typical football club chairman and likes to run his club differently to most. If anything he’s too loyal at times. A few fans on fmttm are starting to lose patience with him though over Woodgate but if I was a betting man, I’d put money on Woodgate being in charge next season regard...

£35 pa isn’t it and that’s not even a lease agreement granting exclusive use of the land. What we have is a license to occupy for a few hours on a Saturday. Not even allowed signage or branding.

I don't really know who is available in the mark a la Hatfield that we could pull in so it's hard to discuss retention. Where do I think we are weakest at the moment still up top and probably at right back (without Trotman). Trotman resolves RB and then probably makes CB the next area "for improvem...
