Fans forum needed

With John Woolnough gone I’ve heard the accounts are looking to be outsourced from Clive Owen who do the current pay role if this is true then it’s worrying as the DFCSG promised a tight hold of all finances as a fan owned club. It would be good to have an update on finances and where DFC are financ...

Re: Burn Gone

No one on here knows what has gone on in the past with Burn, when I’ve met him in hospitality he’s always been chatty and friendly. All players have contracts and normally are advised by agents or PFA how to handle the situation If they are out of favour, if you have a contract it’s like any other i...

Whatever team will give us the biggest financial reward we get 50% of gate money so Pools away would do for me.

He didn’t last long wonder what’s happened.
Looking after finances is a key role, Chris Stockdale DFCSG Chair i’d imagine would likely takeover.
It also leaves DJ as the only official director so he will need support.

Re: Away to Trafford in the FA Cup

I think we will have a good cup run, we surely due some luck in future cup draws. I cant make this one, ( on a 13 mile charity walk), or the next one, (being positive here😁, as already booked up with a boozy day with friends I don't get to see often, booked that date as when set assumed we would no...

Just got back in but was in hospitality today which was very good however I expected it to be rammed but only about half full also without an official match sponsor which for our key match is worrying.

Re: Extended ban

It’s essentially Andy Parks fault however to name him again in the statement I believe this will back fire for the club. Chris Stockdale has been arguing on the DFC Facebook page with fans which is also unseemly. This further ban should just have been given privately in my view.

Burn will do what most players do and that’s take advice from the PFA. It’s up to our manager AA to get Burn back to where he should be whether that’s confidence or fitness as we are still paying him a wage.

I think AA still has a little cash in the coffers, the fans did boost the budget by £103,000 on top of the original budget allowance. So he cannot claim he had less than last year by much.
We have spent the budget so hopefully a good cup run it must be our turn will boost the coffers

Didn’t get to this one so can’t really comment on the play.
Looking forward to York game where I’m sure they will bring 600 fans or more so should at least be a good atmosphere but can’t see us winning.

Re: King’s Lynn

Against my better judgement I went to Kings Lynn and we we were dire 2nd half. I’m beginning to think we should have stuck with Wright and continuity as this season we will end up mid lower table at best. with the budget spent it’s not going to get better imo. AA is a proven manager, who has shown ...

Article in the Echo today.

Great work by the club in getting this off the ground, Boro foundation does very well within the community and with Steve Rose and Sajna Ali involved the foundation should make a positive contribution.

Re: The Areana

If we do end back at the Arena it would be great if we could put safe standing behind both goals, not sure how much it would cost but could appeal to those who like to stand particularly the tin shed fans. Anyone know of this has been looked at?

A visit by the current league in next few weeks apparently to both grounds to view set up, surely they will see the Arena as a proper football stadium. After all the talk something may be happening.

My thoughts are, until a constructive plan is formally put to the football club regards the sporting village, we cannot make any decisions as to what, where or how things pan out ,it's no good second guessing or posting untruths, so we must wait. However long it takes. I personally believe that Dav...

Trots is a huge loss, with us having spent the budget how are we going to replace him. Perhaps open BTB Until end of August, I’d be happy to chip in.
