Re: Cooper out

Lets give it to Lidds and Maddo, at least they know how football should be played, even if they have to put out the youth team.

Re: Cooper out

I wish he would fuck off, in my 34 years supporting Darlo this is the worst style of football I have witnessed at the club. i have never been happy with his appointment as he has only ever managed Tamworth and Kettering for fucks sake small clubs (no offence to small clubs) then got found out at Pet...

Re: If i were Raj

I'd get rid of cooper and his s*** style of hoofball and give Davy another go.

At leaast he tried to play football and gave our kids a go rather than Cooper who is f*cking up their careers.

Re: Eastbourne Borough Match Thread

This is absolutely appalling, yet again we have hardly troubled their outfield goalie. All we seem to do is hump it up field aimlessly.

I am still yet to be convinced by Coopers style of football. Why he hasn't brought Main on who does tend to finish off chances when he gets them.

Cooper out.

Had a look at the pitch today, the grass seems to have taken quickly and is looking well even though there is some areas around the centre circle which are a bit patchy.

I could be wrong on this but don't the conference arrange the local derby games as a double header on boxing day and new years day which in our case will be Gateshead.

were any of you at the game today, or were you sat playing with yourselves at your computers. Chesterfield were never in the game until they brought Whaley on with 15 to go, but we should have been out of sight by then. There first and second goals were outstanding, only critisism was Byrne should o...

Pay what you like?

I read in todays newspaper the Mansfield had a 'Pay what you like' day at Field Mill against Gateshead yesterday and over 7000 turned out. Did a Darlo and froze with a large crowd and lost 2-0. It will be interesting to see what sort of average per head they got at the end of the day. What are peopl...

Bloody typical its stopped raining here in Aycliffe.

Its forecast no more rain this afternoon they should of left the inspection until 1.30-2.00 if there was no more rain in that time the pitch could of been playable by 3.

Re: Sacking Staunton and Getting on the Chairman's back.........

I would of agreed with you coops a couple of weeks ago but my opinion is starting to change.

Some of the players Staunton has brought in have been gash and he's forever changing the team week in week out. Our luck wont change until we start to play a settled team but time is running out.

Staunton was never really going to turn us round with the players he inherited from Todd as the majority were complete garbage. Yes he has brought in loan players but the majority have been young inexperienced kids. Having no experience or quality in the side to guide them they have all looked medio...

I've just a read through the thread of Xmas fixtures ideas and thought why dont the club try putting on a carvery after the match. Re: Has Staunton made a difference?

Staunton has made a difference in a short space of time, but unfortunately time isn't on our side. He has inherited a s*** squad with a lot of loan players on board. The likes of Baines, Bower, Convery, Smith have all got to go. We are crying out for an experienced player in the centre of the park w...

Doesnt matter who your next manager is you are shafted without a decent budget Nonsense. Barnet, Rochdale, Dagenham and a few more manage to do it year after year without a huge budget. Hodgy did it. A decent coach with a good knowledge of the game and tactics can bring a lot out of moderate player...

Darlo's squad

I've heard supporters say on numerous occasions over the past few months Todd did well to assemble the squad he has, in such a short space of team and with a limited budget. Has he really? Last summer there was a record number of players released by clubs with hundreds facing the prospect of finding...

I personally hate the manager merry go round, the majority of them have achieved naff all yet still walk into another job as if they're the next best thing since sliced bread. We need to look at the next generation of manager like your Martinez, Di Matteo, Mowbray, Robins and Lee Clark, attacking fo...

Pools beating them three nil with half an hour to go.

Penney will be out of a job by Christmas, Oldham have gone through a few managers in the past few years.

Needs a huge budget to assemble a half decent team and even then its not that attractive to watch.

Re: Joe Lamplough

I totally agree with you Chris i thought he was a far better option than Bower, younger more mobile and probably on less cash.
