Re: Darlington V Chorley

if he's forced to change it through injury / fitness, then it'd be nice of him to explain this so we know it's not him tinkering.

Re: Darlington V Chorley

Shall I do the same for the Brackley tactical nightmare No I think you should explain the sure fire way we could have played against Brackley which would have guaranteed us the points... I don’t think tactically we were bad against Brackley. Player for player they were simply the better side. Lo367...

Re: B T B Email

not having a go MK - as previously said fair play for you being honest - well done. and wouldn't blame anyone for not wanting to donate. think the point is that Darlo have probably had 70-80% ?? crap managers in our history. So by the law of averages thats likely to continue. think re-branding the B...

Re: Darlington V Southport match thread

i think our side is too lightweight in the middle. Next season im hoping we go for something a little more physical in the middle. Will be a key year for Tommy next year ... his signings havent worked out as planned this year. Ainge - knackered - immobile and unfit Hughes - cant play in midfield wh...

Re: Muggleton

He may well not play again, and that's desperately sad, especially as he was a professional hoping to make his way in the game. Any ligament injury is usually around a year anyway, but it involves ongoing work on building stability in the knee through regular exercise... which he can't really do if...

that bloody awful. easier to say what wasn't injured. hope the lad recovers and can keep in the game - he'll be feeling pretty low at the mo.

Re: ''Donation” scheme

Maybe just me - but the donation page isn't loading?

Edit - working now - thrown a tenner in

Edit2! - I was about to donate a tenner but gives the impression I'm setting up a direct debit - but I just want to chuck donations in now and again

yeah - we've been here before. percentage wise, Spendy get more of a proportion of their populace turning up.

its the delusion from some of their fans that they're not reliant on Brad Groves to propel them up the leagues that should be chuckled at

Re: Curzon V Darlington

Not necessarily. All good refs start at the bottom and work their way higher up. There's no reason (in theory) why there shouldn't be a fair few good refs at this level, who are simply passing by on their climb.[/quote]I'd also argue that while I understand realistically the better refs officiate hi...

Yeap. Can’t beat that for a debut. Shocking slip by the hearts CB gave him acres of time and space to pick his spot but he put it away decisively.

Andrew Nelson has signed for Dundee. Is that an upgrade from us [emoji848] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Standard of championship / league 1 clubs so I'd say yes and probably on 2500 a week No chance of that money at Dundee. Adam Rooney was Aberdeen’s top earner on £2500 a week, a comparativel...

Just to make people aware, me and Tim Hickman have knocked up 300 flyers (maybe more) to be placed on the seats at the ground and for us to hand out before the game. The signs are double sided and show: - #ItsOkayNotToBeOkay alongside a Darlo badge. - A list of useful numbers for people to use if t...

Re: Alfreton away

er - grow up? I don't get that. my point was more we're way better off now in terms of coverage compared to previous decades.

Media blackout - a poor choice of words - I guess its more a case of if you don't like the coverage don't listen.

Re: Alfreton away

How things have changed. I remember back in the 70's and 80's it would be amazing if radio tees covered a darlo game. Even with sotnick and the 'rich' owners we had the coverage of the matches was crap. Now we have Twitter, live chuffing commentary - of not division 4 games but one below the confere...

Ta.

Thought so.

And I thought Tim Parkin was 'big boned'

Reminds me of any 5-a-side footy I've ever played where the fat ogga who turns up in tracky bottoms and a t-shirt with half his tea down the front is the best player by miles.
