Don't Panic!!!!!!!!

From the Gibbon groomer site....(chortle etc) "Our time has come now, no one can save us. If all Poolies will own up we ARE JUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR LEAGUE FOOTBALL. And people on this site will be saying "oooohh doom and gloom merchants are on" but let's be realistic, we are going down this season....

Re: Oh dear......

You'd think I.O.U. would step in and force the deal through. Surely they're not going to continue to subsidise those enormous losses when Peterborough are offering half a million? Apparently its gonna be 1mill plus a player going the other way. How could they refuse? off to speak terms on Sunday by...

Re: Oh dear......

Apparently, it is alleged that they (Cooper) had a verbal agreement that any offer over 500k, then he would be free to leave. Cooper has now gone back on this as they only have him and Marlon Deadwood as recognised strikers. All a bit tinpot if you ask me?

Fuck off have we had TWO Conlons !?! On another note, there are some good goal/game ratios on that list. quite a few 1 every 2 games. In fact the top 5 are just awesome!

Re: The grass bank at HP

Maybe its worth the risk at the worlds most prestigeous tennis tournament and after they have fleeced a hundred thousand fans over the two weeks to sit and watch a big tele, maybe they could afford the higher premium for liability insurance? Can we do the same to appease 12 fans, get real!

Re: The grass bank at HP

It will be exactly the same. Why wouldn't it be? Its not flexible, as its an 'Elf n Safety' issue. If as a club we don't enforce it, and someone comes a cropper, it could be very costly indeed!

Maybe we simply can't match what Spenny can offer.
That sounds about right too.
Also we couldn't employ him in an artificial job, which seems to have swayed his decision perhaps?
Good luck to the lad though, but we move on.

295 season tickets sold to date. No idea how that matches up to the last two season but sounds quite low to me? http://www.darlington1883.co.uk/?p=7375 Has anybody bought the 'Executive' Ticket? At £8.33 per match for a programme, drink and sandwich I would be interested to see. 295 is very poor to...

Re: Free money!!!

I agree Coops does have good links, but loans are not the answer as we found out. For every diamond there are several Offiongs! No signings as yet and have released a few, so if last year was out to go by its a season of struggle again. They will be definitely in the mix at the wrong end i'm sure. O...

The great Poolie implosion.......

Just had a brief butchers on their board and its funny as fuck! They do seem to be coming round to the fact they are shite and about to lose their league status, considering a fair few of the gorilla groomers thought they were good enough for the playoffs last month!
Oh my fookin ribs!
