Re: Ebsfleet v Darlington Preview

when is Miller due back :?: put Quinn up front in a John Parkin type role. might bang a few in,stranger things happen. Are you actually being serious? Actually, Graeme Lee played quite a few times up top for the chimps so it could be a case of Quinn at the back with Lee up front. His goals-to-games...

Re: Euro groups

Getting drawn in either Group D (Ukraine's group) or better still Group A (Poland's) would be a good start. The weakest teams in pots 3 and 4 are arguably Sweden and the Czech Republic, but I think I'd rather Greece than the Swedes, even though they're technically the 6th best team in Europe :wtf: '...

I'm finding the lack of news uneasily reassuring at the moment to be honest.

Re: Raj hoping for more exits

Precisely mobi, these lot have underperformed but make no mistake they are light years ahead of the dross that got us relegated. Agree with this . . although we had a few decent players in 09/10 we were so far off the pace it was untrue. Kris Taylor reminds me a bit of Jeff Smith actually. I'll alw...

Re: Walshaw Joins Halifax On Loan

Wally looked like he was gonna be that elusive 20-a-season striker during pre-season, but he seems to have been wearing plimsoles for most of the season. Out of the three lads (I can think of) who made the step up from the BSN this year, he's been the only one to really struggle. Liam Hearn's got a ...

Re: Ole Soderburg

Clever prick. For what its worth I know someone who works for NUFC and he says they rate him highly. I'd sooner take the view from a professional opinion than off some messageboard rant. Also funny to see some of the Chesterfield fans slagging off Sheridan, the man who got them promoted last season...

I don't know Manolo, no. Marco [Gabbiadini] was a great player for us about ten years ago though.

Any chance of a money-spinning friendly with Atalanta? [Manolo] Gabbiadini would be more than welcome at the Arena.

Re: Darlington FC: a series of articles

I'd defo be interested in having a read through. There are a lot of people on the MB who are better authorities on Darlo than me, but I am a proofreader by trade (if you can call it a trade!), so let us know if you're after any general proofreading advice.

Re: MOTM?????

Lee's obviously got good positional sense and he'll head it away all day long, but I fear his legs have gone (if he was even ever that quick to start off with). He had a solid enough game, but Telford had zero pace in the side and even then he still had to make a couple of last-ditch recovering tack...

I'd like to see Jhona given a chance in front of the back four as a sort of poor man's Sergio Busquets, but without the effeminate play-acting.

GT was tearing it up down the left earlier in the season, so I'd have him back there as soon as Purkiss is ready to come back in at right back. Brown would have the nod for me over Arni though in the meantime.

I really rate GT, not least because of his attitude, but I think he needs to be back at full/wing back asap as he's wasted at centre half.

Re: Who should the next Manager get rid of.

I honestly have no idea what Sammy's done wrong since he rejoined us - it's just bizarre. Fair enough, Arni had a bit of a mare, but he's bound to be rusty - same goes for Campbell. MBW put a great shift in today, I thought, and showed flashes of the creativity that we just don't have when he's not ...
