Completely forgot they disbanded the reserves.

I don't blame Todd for picking him or him for wanting to play, I'd just hate to have another Abbott situation with Foster.

Re: New Keeper required ! - and one or two other observations

We simply have not seen anywhere near enough to proclaim or condemn any players yet. For me, Lumsdon and Dowson are promising, Knight is lacking a bit of confidence and Foster is not close to full fitness. I'd be tempted to play Plummer whilst Foster gets his fitness right, I'd loathe to lose him by...

[quote="Spyman"]Do you not know the meaning of the word fickle? If they were fickle they'd have turned up when we were doing well and vanished when we weren't doing well - our support has been consistantly s*** throughout./quote] The irony. Re: First six matches

League Two is unpredictable at the best of times, yet I feel pretty positive about this season. We haven't got any pressure as no-one expects us to do anything special, unlike last season and unlike Notts County, Shrewsbury and co who may look to change manager by Xmas is they don't start well. With...

Re: Leeds Sold Over 3500 tickets

I have to admit I had a bit of a laugh at some of the comments above there. Leeds would easily out number any club in our division, but unlike most of the clubs in our division we are able to offer a much bigger allocation. Spot on. Leeds can have the full 10,000 as long as they pay for them, needs...

Re: The future of the big screen

I love the way that people think that there are thousands of businesses just waiting to pour money into Darlington "if only we got some competant commercial staff in who know what they are doing". What you people need to realise is that few businesses are interested and you can't sell ice to eskimo...

Re: The future of the big screen

Short sighted and negative the blight of DFC. The screen is a gold mine waiting for a Graham Fordy to exploit. Darlo went to a lot of trouble to train some one to operate it. The screen is a gold mine. With all due respect, can you actually quantify that statement? It seems all other evidence point...

Can you see the Leeds match on Monday - Sky TV are covering? As it is on Sky, you'll definitely be able to stream it online if it is not broadcast directly in Sweden. Those who are interested in such devious activities should look no further than this website, apparently: http://myp2p.eu/competitio...

Re: The future of the big screen

A simple scoreboard with a timer on it would suffice, if anything. Why do we need anything? I'm sure we can cope with the relatively low numbers involved in our scores most weeks! Quite simply, we don't. For the record, I wouldn't bother re-installing the seats either, money that doesn't need to be...

At the end of the day, if we are leasing it we are better off without it. Any expense we can lose immediately without any effect on the club.

Re: Congestion Charge

How much would it cost you on public transport, out of interest? More than £5 return with the kids in tow, right? So the club offer you a cheaper alternative and provide you with parking for £5. Spot on. £5 is pretty fair considering how much most other large venues charge. From watching various co...

Re: Any ideas for the new site?

As the Trust and SC websites are updated very very infrequently, could they be allowed a page based within this site (that they could maintain?) and could allow an increased exposure.

Nothing flash but advertising their events, travel arrangements, funds etc etc.

Re: New Kit Prices

£36 has become pretty much standard and I don't think the club should lower the prices unless they need to to stay inline with the rest of the League. A valid point. The club would be better offering a deal for buying the whole kit, especially for kids, e.g. £50 for the shirt, shorts and socks or £...

I'd love some continuous updates/information on the reserves and youth sides. [E.g: Who is coming in? Who is being kept on? Who is knocking on the door of the first team? A bit of background on the lads etc.] The Carlisle site on Footymad have reviews on the games and stories on those players, it se...

It's the principal that annoys me the most (as sad as it may sound) - not the fact that Pete wishes to spend his spare time doing it. In any other similar instance, people are asked whether they wish to take part, not whether they wish not to take part. If I want people to contact me, I give out my...
