If I lived in Darlo I would be there every game. No questions.[/quote]

Didn't you say you were giving them a few games at the start of the season to see what they were like, before deciding to go or not, and were now glad that you had? Doesn't tally with your last comment

Re: So lets pretend for a minute you clowns get your own way

He wouldn't get away with six bad games here, never mind a season. Can you explain yourself? Because I don't even know what sort of point that is. Any manager would be under pressure if he delivered the performances, results and all-round mess that Cooper has managed to serve up this season. I'm ta...

Re: HURTING

Best post I've read for ages. York, Luton, Wrexham, Cambridge - bigger clubs than us, fallen further than us, and yet unable to get out of this horrible league. Grimsby, and no doubt now Lincoln and Stockport experiencing exactly the same. Someone said in another thread that Cooper had to go becaus...

I'm sorry but am I the only one not completely losing their minds over what has happened in the past few weeks. Yes it has been a crap start to the season and we are all disappointed to not be flying high right now but this is far from the worst moment we have had to contend with in the last few se...

Re: So lets pretend for a minute you clowns get your own way

Sammy McIlroy. A proper manager with a great track record of promotions in this division: Won it twice with Macclesfield (the first time their ground wasn't up to scratch) and reached the playoffs twice in his first two seasons at Morecambe (they went up at the second attempt). Not just that but he ...

Re: Cooper?

Exactly. Some fans appear to believe our players are so good they can decide whether to win or lose a match. Of course, the opposition have no say in this. The solution is also apparently very easy. Cooper just needs to have a good chat with the players and make them agree to try harder.[/quo...

Re: Cooper?

Exactly, Mr Quatermain. If they succeed this time, who is to say they'll get on any better with the next manager. I'm most upset with the fact that some people will have forked out a hard earned £18 last night, not knowing that "some players" had decided the outcome of the match already. If they don...

He's lost the senior players and the rest of the dressing room has followed. This is what I hate about football nowadays, all this lost the players crap. If Walshaw was as bad as your making him out to be he wouldnt be getting the chances he's been missing, strikers go throw stages that Walshaw finds himself in, if he keeps gettin his chances then theres a fair chance he'll go on a good run, goals breed confidence, all it could take for him is one g...

Spoke to Cooper last season about Smith, and he said at the time that he believed he would be a premier league player in time. Seems Stoke have the same opinion. In his appearances last season, he cannot therefore have been the utterly shite, spineless waste of space certain people on here maintain ...

Im not Wrights biggest fan by any means but to say Wrights performance at Wembley was very poor is way off the mark. try looking at a game with your own eyes instead of going with the media hype, Bramble was a major part of a team that boasted the most clean sheets at about the half way point in the season and the clean sheets only stopped when injuries broke the back four up. Bramble was also player of the year ...

I didnt get a shirt last year because I didnt have the spare cash, My season ticket was hard work saving for. Re: Free Agent's/Transfer Targets

How many players have done anything at Bradford in recent seasons? I think there's something fundamentally wrong with the club, and to write Evans off might be a mistake. He did very well in a piss poor Macclesfield side, and from what I remember seemed hard working enough for them. For free, still ...

Re: Free Agent's/Transfer Targets

Just seen that Gareth Evans is on a free from Bradford. Remember he looked a really good player when at Macclesfield, and I think he scored a couple against us, if memory serves me. Skilful forward, could make something out of nothing, and took a decent freekick. Perhaps worth a look.

Another start and another win for the team. Not seriously laying this win at Wrights' door are we? Up until his 1cm tap in, he was rarely a threat, and won very few headers. Happy he was in the right place, but if we want to go up next year, he won't be in the starting eleven. Campbell's ...

Re: Tommy Wright

Lets get things in perspective. Yes, Tommy scored, but for the vast majority of this game, York bossed it. I don't think he caused their centre halves that much problem, and the goal he scored owed more to Hatch attacking his header than Wright, who couldn't miss. We've all got a soft spot for Tommy...

One thing I wouldn't have thought you could criticize Russell about is his kicking. Wasn't his best yesterday, but I've always thought he is very good, especially from on the floor.

Could have been Alan Walsh, who was one of the few reasons to watch Darlo when I started going. 4 goals against the hangers lives on in the memory even now, and has been mentioned, a fearsome shot. However, for sheer genius, it has to be David Currie. His work ethic wouldn't go down well with those ...

By what I have seen Campbell looks like he knows how to finish, Senior altho has scored goals for other 'worse' teams than...

To be fair, Wright is a better option than M. Smith. No he isn't, unless we are going longball again. Wright cannot hold a ball up, doesn't win many headers, and most of his challenges result in a freekick. His best days are long gone. Wright wins more than his fair share of headers and can hold th...
