Re: Blackwell Meadows planning application submitted

I'm pretty sure it's May before the work on the pitch will be started. The Darlington festival is usually on in May, as is the Henry Valks memorial invitational tournament. Even I'm dusting off the boots for that one this year!

Re: Darlington v Clitheroe Highlights

Certainly doesn't look like a penalty in the video. I'm still angry we didn't win it. They were poor, but we had an off day. But to stop playing as we did after their sending off is not acceptable. Especially as this is not the first time it's happened this season. We move on, Saturday is going to ...

West Auckland Soap Opera

If anybody wants a bit of bedtime reading have a look on twitter at Dennis Knight and Lewis Galpin. Knight is having an amusing running battle with some West fans now that he has left, I don't think he holds the pitchfork club in that high a regard, and Lewis Galpin the club captain has tweeted the ...

Re: Club Accounts & AGM info released

Having shirts available before the season started will have helped retail a lot. Which leads me to ask, where are those club shop vouchers for those who invested? Was told they'd be sent out at least two months ago. Already had mine, and used it to get a discount on my home shirt. I collected the v...

Re: Scarborough v Darlington Highlights

The 'foul' on Dowson is the most obvious penalty ever. I was stood at that end and couldn't believe it wasn't given, the highlights back up my thoughts it's a definite penalty

Re: Quakers target return to Darlo for start of next season

I'd be feeling even more positive if the "artists impression" on the Homepage featured a football rather than a rugby pitch! But I accept it is a joint application and the rugby club are probably in the box seat? Try this link then, it shows a football pitch! Hope the link works, never put one on b...

Re: Worried

The lack of communication regarding the monetary side of the club is very frustrating. How much, if anything, do we owe on the historic debt? How much do we actually need to complete the Blackwell Meadows move? It seems that we never learn the lessons of engaging supporters (and all other stakehold...

Hummm we need to play better than those highlights show. By the way that was an absolute horror tackle by Armstrong - he doesn't even jump in the direction of the ball he just goes straight into the keeper. I can't believe that was given as a penalty btw. Galbraith may have slightly grazed him but ...

It's good to see a lot of people wanting the rugby club to be a success. There are a few people (not necessarily on this thread) who don't. I find that very sad. There are many old Mowden die hards who have fought for years for the best interests of the club who are now firmly staying away from the...
