Re: Smith and Toman

They're good lads and are Darlo through and through, the major prerequisite that must be met to be considered as a viable candidate.

Re: Temporary management

Phil Turnbull's post-match comments are interesting in that he has been trying to get the players to play proper football and will stick with it because he says he doesn't want to revert back to how it was before. Not exactly a ringing endorsement of our previous manager's tactics. Yesterday was ha...

Re: Anthony Peacock

I seem to remember Peacock barged a much bigger player off the ball at the Arena. He was ok, but his stature was always going to hold him back. Beat me to it Pete! It was a big black lad playing for Oxford, Peacock came and nicked the ball off him he looked round in total shock had no idea what hap...

Re: Wanted Darlo video

I remember that Bradford game well! It was the night "The Glory Hunter" first arrived at Darlo and was even welcomed by George Houghton in his programme notes that night only to be removed from the ground as he was not allowed to record as Sky had broadcasting rights for the game! It was also the ni...

I reckon we should get the cheque book out and pay Big Mike off to get Rafa Benitez from Newcastle.

Failing that what's Simon Davey up to these days?

After clocking up an impressive 52 years it's quite clear you are one of the older supporters among us and with respect it appears to show with your diminishing/selective memory of Raj Singh. This particularly piece stood out for me.... We all have differing views on Singh, accept that, but wow what...

Going back to the Reynolds Colosseum would be financially ruinous. I would assume we'd be paying substantially higher rent to DMP also I can't see them being as accommodating, especially when it comes to moving games when we have a home fixture on the same day. And also as has been mentioned above w...

Re: So, where do we go from here

Not meaning any disrespect to AndyPark but this is a pointless poll, he isn't going anywhere and even talking about sacking/resignation is ludicrous at this stage. We're in a hole right now there's no doubt about it 1 win in 9 in all competitions and that coming against, with respect, one of the poo...

Re: £25K Needed in the next 3 weeks

So basically we need to raise over £1,000 a day for the next 3 weeks? All I'll say is don't get your hopes up.

Also if that money in the "Boost the Budget" pitch was in the seating pitch we'd be approximately 90% of the way there now, just saying.

I think any plan has to involve us having a proper home, not just a license to play. This means either getting hold of BM or the Arena. I envisage this consortium will be split into football and commercial workstreams, arriving at a position where all parties see benefits. The club needs matchday r...
