Re: That is how you celebrate winning a trophy!
I cannot imagine that winning the Northern League has ever meant so much to a club and its fans or been celebrated in such style.
All being well we will have to do it all again next year.

Re: Tonight's Gazette
I'm sorry but... He told the leagues: “It is vital that we are advised of your step five (including Northern League) promotion teams by midnight on Tuesday May 7 , as the step 1-4 club allocation meeting takes place in Worcester on May 8.” But today he told the Gazette: “We don’t control the league...

FA promotion meeting
Now that Spenny are playing beyond the deadline when the FA meet to sort out promotion from step 5 to 4 they may well have a situation where either us or Spenny could still win the league on the day of the meeting. As the FA make the rules, and break them as they see fit, could they simply say: Ther...

Re: Match thread vs West
The thing that really impressed me today was our discipline - on the field and the bench - it would have been so easy to get dragged into the physical and verbal stuff. Well done for MG for drilling the discipline side of things into the squad - and to the players for rising above what was going on ...

Re: CIC Workstreams
One of the problems with the workstreams seems to be getting them started - once up and running they should generate their own momentum, pretty much like the existing DFC fundraising group. In addition to the suggestions for volunteer registers etc, would it be possible - puts more work on the peopl...

Re: Fans Forum tonight
One thing that was mentioned briefly was the involvement (or lack of it) of the advisory board (peter barron, jenny Chapman etc). There was a slide put up with a statement from them that basically said 'we knew nothing - we were repeatedly assured everything was OK'. Assuming they were not being del...

Re: Statement from the club
There's only an intention to have 2 boards at the moment, a CIC board and a football club board. However given the CIC only own 52% of the club I can't see how that can be passed given it would give neither the Supporters Club or individual investors a say. There is a plan to get the CIC share to 7...

Re: Car Park C - Wednesday
Since we got that new steward on the gate things seem to have improved dramatically. I think he should be promoted to a job inside the ground. The only 'problem' now is that it still takes quite a while to get out - the problem seems to be not just at the gate to the car park, but traffic backing up...

Standing behind goal at the 'new stand' end
Apologies if this has been dealt with elsewhere, but... I can understand not wanting people standing directly in front of the new stand and blocking the view of people sat there, but what about the bit directly behind the goal in the gap between the two stands - is this a permanent ban or just while...

MPRC and the Arena
OK I'll jump in first. Were 1883 aware of Mowdens plans? Have there been any discussions with Mowden about possible future uses of the arena? Clearly depends on what they plan to do with it - but from what is known (generally and any extra to 1883) does this have any impact on the Return to Darlo pl...

car passes - are they linked to a specific car - or will any car waving the pass be allowed in - thinking of car sharing - so 2 or 3 different cars will be turning up during the season - is 1 car pass OK to be used between all of them?

Re: league 2 punishment
I suppose an appeal like this can go several ways 1. No change - the FA decide they were right all along - most likely? 2. Reduction in punishement - new evidence might suggest either the offences were less serious than thought, or on reflection in the circumstances the punishment was too harsh 3. I...
