When operation win World Cup is launched, the world will hold it's breath. Germany !! They are unstoppable - I wish I'd put that bet on now. If only I can remember where Doc had put the Deloreon and flux capacitor I could go back in time and place a few bets http://www.thesportbible.com/videos/davi...

Re: World Cup

Quite a few records were taken last night... The match was a record 13th time Germany (including West Germany) reached the last four, and the 12th semi-final they played (Germany reached the 1974 final after coming through a second group stage). In addition, multiple scoring records were broken duri...

Re: Premier B League.

Slightly different but about 12 years ago Cardiff city applied to play their reserve team in the welsh prem league which they would have won every year as the standard is pretty shite-the idea behind this was that Cardiff would then play their 1st team in the champions league but the FA stepped in ...

Re: Premier B League.

Why or have we considered a Darlo B team (reserves) playing in say the Northern league 2nd Division where we can blend the youth team with fringe players. Helping keep match fit when needed. Can also be used to develop our own players. Not trying to be-little the league but maybe a feeder league in...

Re: Blatter. Thick, incompetent, corrupt ?

IF votes are re run I think we will get one of them. I can't think of many others that havn't done it for a while that have the stadiums in place. Worst case scenario if we don't have enough stadiums up to capacity requirements (is it 50k now?) we bring Scotland and Wales in on it as well to give a...

There is also talk of re-running the 2018 vote as well, if one paper yesterday is to be believed (Daily Star, I think) then England is about to be offered the chance to host 2018, I will believe that when I see it, I would not trust the football results that the Star Prints. Possible FA Cup route this season... Prelim - Hope for an easy tie. The only way we'd generate a crowd is if we got Spennymoor. 1874 Northwich would be a good tie otherwise 1QR - FC United 2QR - Chester City 3QR - Stockport County 4QR - Halifax We'd have to strike up an immense run of form though! ...

Can you still create brand new league systems on Football Manager and add to existing ones? Re: Who goes where ?

Isn't it too financially costly for most NL clubs top take promotion? Travel costs and wages go up but you have fewer derbies so attendances may go down. You'd only take promotion if you thought you could get higher than step 3-4, which presently probably only applies to no more than 3 NL clubs. I ...

Re: Who goes where ?

The problem at Step 3 is that when the APL was formed the Northern League was offered the chance to feed the APL, along with the Isthmian they stubbornly remained Amateur, they considered themselves on par with the Alliance(no shock there), the Isthmian quickly came to it's senses and became a Step ...
