Re: Prediction League
Fixtures for this weekend and beyond aren't up yet. Milky clearly has loads on his plate with his young family, day job and the whole pile of stuff he does for the club and I suspect this task would not be top priority. Wouldn't it make sense for somebody with a real interest in the prediction leag...

Sorry to break it to you Pete but Mr Q is actually a person in a costume - who may or may not have defected to York City. Hence the need to recruit a new person to maintain Mr Q's attendance at matches. Aren't we all just people in costumes? Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk Deep! But yes, we're...

So what's the solution? That's a hard one to answer, but without substantial funding from the fans and or an investor, it's hard to see a solution to our ground problems. Arena!!!! I have no wish for anybody other than the fans to be a majority shareholder of the club. I am happy for outside investment to be made into DFC but I would only want that to be for a maximum share ownership of 15%. Correct Divas. Regarding Tommy Wright, beggars can't be choosers. If he can stabilise us for a couple of years while we build our infrastructure, then fair enough. Once we are eligible for promotion to the Conference, and we have built up the infrastructure, once the 500 club expires at the end of ...

From what I've heard, Hardy doesn't want the job... I think I've heard every single permutation of Hardy / Our interest in each other that exists. Until CHardy75 posts something on here then I would assume everything else is rumour. Logically he should be interested. It is a step up, it is still lo...

We've offered Tommy Wright the job apparently. First post and joined the forum just 5 mins ago, so either in the know or a troll! No help! Seems plausible to me. We have no idea how negotiations with Armstrong and/or Blyth have gone. If they have ground to a halt TW is probably the best alternative...

For me the main thing the board did wrong was to trust Gray. They, like most of us, believed he had the best interests of the club at heart. How wrong we all were. Not sure which Board you are referring to: the FC Board or the DFCSG one. Because I can assure you, he was not trusted by all members o...

Re: Compensation from Gray breaking contract?
It would cost thousands to try and take it down official channels. What about an ilegal approach to the manager, would the FA not get involved? Or does the fact his resignation was accepted negate that? Perhaps the initial contact was made to the football club, perhaps a few weeks ago, and if so the...

Re: Compensation from Gray breaking contract?
It could be that the contract was with MGFA to manage the club, not with MG.
if so it may be that as long as MGFA (Gregan and Atkinson) still carry out that role, the contract hasn't been broken and no compensation is due.

It's quite clear, we kick on with Martin and investment or we part company and rattle around in league 6 or 7 as we are . No it isn't that clear; your post is simplistic. It is possible to have a smaller budget and to achieve more than we currently are doing. It is also possible to recruit better a...
