I think he was substituted in injury time, but it sounded like he had a great game.

Re: Gloucester (A)
Great team performance, despite almost everybody being against Josh, he does seem to be turning the ship around. Asante certainly looks a real deal. I make that 8 points out of the last 15 available, which is certainly not relegation form. I think we can get out of this mess. Well done Josh keep up ...

Re: Marske United
I can't see them raising that amount of money in just under 2 weeks. Does anybody know what sort of crowds they get at home? Good luck to them and I hope they prove me wrong. They average 431 Thanks for that DP. For our BTB crowds roughly 3 times that average took a month to raise just over £150k. ...

There you go. I incidentally was passing Banbury at 8am today and it was tipping it down, the pitch inspection was always going to call the game off.

I think the game on Saturday must be in serious doubt. I'm on the South coast and there's been loads of rain, with roads closed by flooding. There's another load of rain coming through tomorrow morning. I'd expect an early pitch inspection tomorrow morning, to stop the team and fans travelling down...

I certainly would be.theoriginalfatcat wrote: ↑Sun Dec 03, 2023 12:34 pmAs a Hodgie fan I too would be concerned about how long he's been out of management. He'd maybe make a good "caretaker" type manager if we ever get stuck - probably better than roping players in.
Darlo-Pete however will be frothing at the mouth.

It's good to see JG being on the pitch looking at the players before the game. AA was never to be seen before the match. I do think that the players are behind JG, they seem to enjoy their pre-match warm ups. It's good to hear that the players are enjoying their training.

Whatever Asante is on it's a waste of scarce resources - he's being paid for cantering around for ten minutes or so, seeming to be quite unfit then it's the usual just wait and see we get from the club. They could tell us honestly when he's likely to be fit. What must the other players think of thi...

Perhaps a few people have stopped their direct debits, as fans financial circumstances do change and perhaps they can't afford it anymore.

Re: Darlington V Rushall
Taylor needs to go, he is always letting his team mates down. Thought we played really well, with some great performances. If we play like that for the rest of the season, then we will have a good chance of avoiding the drop. JG has got us playing some pretty decent footie. But we always seem to be ...

Crowd was just over 1,000. Perennial question - are all season tickets included in this? Better results required, not just to stay in the league, but to avoid the financial pressures resulting from lower attendances. It's a bit of a downward spiral. Yes that will include all season ticket holders, ...

At the time we were generally in the top 10 busiest Rivals MB's which was pretty impressive for a little old club like Darlo.

I used to love the rivals message board. Stiv still goes to games, but he's not allowed on uncovered. Does anybody remember when we had invasions of other clubs MB's? So did I! I remember your spats with DJ over his inclusion in the ROH, I even won it myself a few times! dfc_ajb's thread with a det...

Why can you never give a straight answer, and why does my brain hurt when deciphering your posts? Because it's Lo, the dullest yet most deliberately contrarian man on the internet. Maybe this should be on the “truth” thread, but truth is that whenever I hear our manager in an interview I cannot stand the guy. His giggling and “ we’ve had a chat in there” comments are driving me mad. Surely that was an opportunity to accept a share of responsibility, thank the fans who travell...

Having a player sent off in the 6th minute and then losing a CB within 15 minutes and playing a side in the play-offs, we were always odds on to get a hammering given those set of circumstances. Blaming the manager for what goes on once the players take to the field is ridiculous. We have taken 6 ou...

What happened at full time when it kicked off ? I think Hatfield got hit by their player, the ref saw it and sent the guy off.
