Re: Marske United
A business is not legally allowed to continue operating if it is insolvent. They don't know where they will be repositioned in the pyramid. I am not sure what precedent there is for actually resigning midway through the season. Droylsden resigned and restarted at the bottom, but they also sort of s...

Dan Bell was at the game yesterday. https://youtu.be/IGztakU72fM?si=4PhlLRiOhQs5bT5a He had some interesting observations about our plight before and after the game [emoji43][emoji94] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Can you summarise these points so we don't have to watch over 17 mins of YouTube?

I don't think Spendy are very far away from re-opening their managerial revolving door as well. Not appointed a manager since Chandler resigned. Current one is interim role, so likely there may be changes there. It's musical chairs in managers in NE this season. Only Fenton at Blyth looks relativel...

I have no way of knowing the accuracy of the figures quoted. How much gate receipts were for example is not something I have commented on You said they were fantasy? Th picture he is trying to convey is a fantasy because they are a select few of the figures, not as he is trying to imply a correct a...

They've simply been presented as gate receipt figures and expenditure on the night together with a warning from the chairman about the possible consequences for the club. Of course they have relevance and meaning regardless of other income streams from grants and sponsorship and advertising. If you...

One of the clubs tipped for the drop with us seem to be in absolute turmoil now on and off the pitch. I think the game on Saturday must be in serious doubt. I'm on the South coast and there's been loads of rain, with roads closed by flooding. There's another load of rain coming through tomorrow morning. I'd expect an early pitch inspection tomorrow morning, to stop the team and fans travelling down...

I'd say a lot of steam has already gone. A relegation followed quickly by a promotion could reinvigorate the club - however there are plenty of examples of clubs being relegated who don't bounce back quickly (or at all). Tamworth are a good example of a side being reinvigorated by relegation and an...

As at April 2016 a total of 143 teams had been expelled from the FA Cup, so it's likely a large number of clubs who lost to them were reinstated. Darlington are probably unique in the season they lost twice, their first victorious opponents were not expelled from the competition The case of Everton ...

DJ chucking Alun under the bus over his tactics & standard of training. Not a good look. I'm only guessing but I don't think it will cost a lot to get rid of JG - I think he will be on a monthly contract as we are still paying for AA - which is one of the reasons why he was given the job in the first place - it was his opportunity to impress while we pay the remainder of AA's contract....

Catch 22 for the manager I reckon with no right or wrong answer. Yes TT could dominate his box a lot better but overall probably as good as we are going to get realistically. Seemed wrong at the time to bring a young kid in as we have other priorities to improve rather than a solid goalkeeper. Howe...
