Re: Watching England play
We played different systems in each and had more natural width and pace against Germany with Wellbeck and Vardy out wide. You're right, and I reckon we should stick with that system with Vardy and Welbeck providing width/pace and Kane and Alli in the centre. It also means we effectively have 3 stri...

This won't affect me as I bought a gate recently for a reasonable price. I framed it on my wall.

Re: Watching England play
Why wouldn't any of the commentators admit that it was a clear penalty by the way? They seemed to be trying to find any excuse possible but he basically slaps the ball. It was a foul in the build up to their second though, and Rose was daft to handball it the way he did. Two soft goals to giveaway,...

Re: Watching England play
England were class against Germany, but poor against Holland after Hodgson completely changed the side.
It happens, it was only a friendly, Holland were much more defensive than Germany, it was an experimental side, and it was only one game.
I wouldn't read too much into it.

Re: Nick Blackwell
I completely agree, but the amount of people who are calling for the sport to be banned, and also blaming the referee is absurd. It's the same as horse racing in that when we get horses dying at the national, people jump on the bandwagon calling for changes, I wouldn't say those two issues are rela...

Why, when other sports are taking commendable action regarding head injuries, are boxers still allowed to go into the ring with the express intent of knocking their opponent senseless? I'm not criticising boxing here but it is a sport where two people have to repeatedly punch each other in the head...
