Re: GARY BROWN INJURY?

Sounding fine is not being physically fit is it. Fine line with head injuries, especially brain bruising. The response was to a statement hoping he feels better soon, so the response was perfectly acceptable I thought. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk Exactly! Gary sounded as bright as a button...

Re: GARY BROWN INJURY?

Slightly worrying if so - head injuries are no laughing matter and if it is something resulting from the concussion rather than a cut or something superficial then who knows if/when we'll see him back. Yes, it is a concern. I'm sure we all hope he feels better soon. He sounded in fine fettle on Dar...

http://mydarlo.co.uk/img/seatstot.jpg Lots of money trickling no into the ground development fund. Mr. Tibbs might know if that's membership renewals being put in there. If not, even better. Re: Revised fundraising target

http://mydarlo.co.uk/img/seatstot.jpg We've managed to raise about £1300 in just a little under a day since the revised target was announced. Total required to get the seats is now under £6000. Great going and thanks to all who have contributed via the pitches or who have renewed memberships to the...

Re: Revised fundraising target

http://mydarlo.co.uk/img/seatstot.jpg This is great news in the main, although I do have one question - I seem to remember, although perhaps someone can confirm, that part of the fundraising was to adjust the angle of the seating to improve sight lines. Will this be part of the current round of fun...

Re: Revised fundraising target

http://mydarlo.co.uk/img/seatstot.jpg Would it help if those who are currently paying by DD (£1.67 a month) switch to pay off the whole sum immediately? I think this would be a payment of £23.33 I would be happy to do this if it helps to get somewhere closer to cover the shortfall. Actually it woul...

Re: Revised fundraising target

http://mydarlo.co.uk/img/seatstot.jpg I think we're down to around £6700 needed, by my reckoning. Good to see a dozen or so renewals and a few new members join online since this was announced last night. Just to reiterate - if you haven't renewed your membership then you really can make a differenc...

Re: Revised fundraising target

http://mydarlo.co.uk/img/seatstot.jpg Just to put some meat on those bones the plan now is to buy and install the seats ready for the York City game on January 6th, and put a roof on it later. This reduces the amount we need to raise now leaving us just over £7000 short of our immediate target, and...

Re: So, where do we go from here

I really do fear the club is heading/being manoeuvred into a position where sufficient people will buy the 'invest or die' scenario and be prepared to sacrifice the benefits (and limitations) of fan ownership for the promise of increased budgets offering on the field success in the next few years. ...

No.

Not the clock, the siren that used to wail at one.
That was the old Cleveland Bridge works siren in Smithfield Road. I used to work there.

They moved to the new works in Yarm Road around about 1980/81 so that was why it stopped then.

Re: Ryan Bowman to Pools?

Bowman got his first start for Motherwell yesterday, and scored the equaliser in a 2-1 home win over Hearts. His goal cancelled out an opener by another ex-Darlo player... Kyle Lafferty. http://www.motherwellfc.co.uk/?p=64790 Following his impressive performance after coming off the bench last week,...

Re: New Feethams residents complain about the noise next doo

Of course it will be accepted. They all have the same school tie...And it just wouldn't be cricket to turn the planning permission down. To be fair there were already some old knackered nets there anyway so it can hardly have been a surprise to the residents. Absolutely no surprise whatsoever - peo...

New Feethams residents complain about the noise next door

Bit of karma at play here? Must be people living where the tin shed was complaining about the noise from the cricket club. Seems as though the cricket club have built an all-weather practice area there and have submitted a retrospective planning application for it, which residents on the land former...
