Re: Update Required?

Perhaps fans who live in Darlington would do well to write to Peter Gibson MP and remind him of his party’s election manifesto pledge to set up a £150M community assets fund to help set up community assets and fan led review of football governance which they have quietly forgotten about. The govern...

Re: Update Required?

We all know that the NL voting is heavily skewed in favour of the top tier so what happens if they say they want to start with no fans and the NLN doesn’t? Also what’s the view of the NLS clubs? Are they of a similar view to the north or the top tier?

Anyone interested in scouting our first league opponents can watch Kiddy playing Stockport on YouTube. Currently 1-1 after 76 mins.

2-2 the last time we played them I think. Decent chance to progress.

Not going to happen. The pitch is probably a month away from being ready.

Re: Macclesfield Town

Olly Baylis is reporting that the NL resolution states that the top division should have 24 clubs which could mean Ebsfleet could be reprieved. This would leave the south division with only 20 clubs whereas the north has 22.

What a mess!

All hypothetical, of course.
Are they still planning on ripping up the grass for a 4G pitch?

Re: Latest friendly

Laing and Storey haven’t featured in the two games we’ve played and from the highlights, it looked like Watson was filling in there so I’m not surprised we’ve conceded 8 goals against quality opponents. I’ve no idea whether or not the keeper is any good but surely the above has to be taken into acco...

Re: impact on ground capacity

Look at the pictures from the Stockton v Shildon cup match tonight. 300 allowed in and the shed is as full as it always is. No social distancing being observed in there tonight! People have to take responsibility for their own actions there will be enough space provided for them to distance. It wil...

Still you have to think he’ll be a great signing for them as long as he’s fully committed of course.

Re: Dan Maguire Interview

My mate supports York and we often discussed Dan’s progress or lack of it last season. The worrying thing for me is that it wasn’t just one injury but four separate issues. Having said that, we all know Alun knows what he’s doing and he hasn’t made a bad signing so far. But it happens to the best. E...

I looked out for you all that day but must have missed you. Glad you enjoyed your visit to our club. I have already followed you on twitter and saw the manager announcement. Re: October 3rd

Would be a predicament for the club in the selection of season ticket holders who would be allowed to attend if capacity limited to 300 as I think we have already sold 500. Already getting fewer games than last season, so it would be hard to bear if it was further limited. Personally, don't have an...

Re: Incoming goalkeeper

You’re operating from the false assumption that Woodgate was a competent manager who knew what he was doing. He clearly didn’t and was out of his depth and Gibbo acted before it was too late. Boro would be in league one now if he hadn’t. Several of my mates are Boro season ticket holders and feel t...
